Thoroughly pleased with our meal at Zemeta. I enjoyed the way the hostess took care of us, the food was delicious (my first time eating Ethiopian food) and the décor/ambience was both interesting and made me feel at ease. Would definitely eat here again!
Service a little slow. They seemed understaffed. But they were very friendly.

If we go to Rochester, we go to Zemeta’s. She is a beautiful and gracious hostess and the food is incredible.
Excellent food and service! Our party loved the freshly squeezed mango and strawberry sugar-free shakes - these are not even on the menu, but they offered to make them for us when we inquired about juice or shake availability. Our food was delicious and plentiful. Very affordable prices and friendly atmosphere!

The resturant is what my wife and I love. Family owned but ran well. Our waitress was extremely courteous and helpful. The food was on point!
The food was prepared fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The dining room was quaint and simple with a total capacity of around 25.
It is a small establishment. There was only 1 person working the tablesA she did a great job but it took a bit longer to get our bill. Food was good. Waitress very soft spoken and would have liked more information about the food but not sure if her English is perfected.
Always go for lunch on Sundays and it is very quiet and a pleasant atmosphere. Service is very good and food is excellent.
Friday and Saturday Vegitarian Buffet is good, very flavorful, but needs at least one meat option for those who enjoy vegetables, but need something hearty.
This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Rochester, I visit it more often than other place and I frequently introduce new folks to their food.
