Previously, Restaurant.com gift cards had a designated dollar value that could be applied toward purchases. However, we've recently introduced a new system where gift cards are now referred to as Dining Deal cards. These cards no longer have a fixed dollar value; instead, they are assigned a points value. When redeemed, these points are added to your account balance, which can then be used towards future purchases on our platform.

If a restaurant refuses to accept your certificate, inform us by emailing support@restaurant.com with the restaurant details and your certificate number. Then, exchange your certificate for credit through your account. If you need further assistance, please reach out to our customer service.

If you return home and you find that you did not use a couple of your Restaurant Certificates, or restaurant certificates, you can use the self-exchange option in your account. We can then issue the exchange in the form of a Restaurant.com points which you can use to select a restaurant closer to home or for your next trip.
