This is a fun and lovely place to meet a friend for lunch. I enjoy the outdoor seating when the weather is warm, as you are surrounded by gorgeous flowers. Inside is a little noisy, but still a good place to go.

We left a message for a reservation, having been advised to call ahead on the weekend. While they didn't get the message by the time we got there, they did get us right in. The only reason they did not get an excellent in the quality of the food is that the crab was a little skimpy on the sandwich that we always get.

The place is great. Atmosphere and the family touch along with fresh fresh fresh food make it a repeat! The owner and the family all work here, it has a wonderful garden and garden supply that you can wonder through for hours. They have a beautiful wedding venue not to be rivaled by anyone local.

They were really busy and the waitress seemed to be overwhelmed. I ordered water and got iced tea and my friend ordered a caprese sandwich and got something totally different. However, the waitress was very apologetic and gave me my water right away and my friend received her ordered sandwich as soon as she let them know the issue. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere great and it was so nice to eat outside in their beautiful garden.

We sat outside and it was a great choice. The soup of the day was Tortilla Soup and it was delicious. Had the Patty Melt Burger with cheddar, onions and 1000 Island dressing on toasted sourdough. My kind of burger, cooked to perfection on a grill and served hot. Service was very good even outside.

We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and our overall dining experience. My wife is taking our daughters on a tour of Meeker Mansion in Puyallup next month and is going to take them by the Windmill Restaurant for desert and drinks.

The food was not as good as it could have been. There were several areas in the food that need improving. Very nice place to visit.

We had a really wonderful experience at the Bistro. Would go again next week. The happy hour menu was excellent. Great food at a great price!
