Service was decent, food was decent, nothing special. The cook on all the food was good. Something ended up bothering both me and my wife's stomach. That's part of the rating for neutral. Could barely taste the coffee, so either it was weak or it's the kind of coffee they use. Mine also became luke warm quickly, so it wasn't hot enough when it came out. The coffee is the other part of the neutral rating. A breakfast diner should not have a fail with coffee.

Waffle Way is amazing for breakfast, service is fantastic, food is comfort food. We eat there every time we are in Grapevine (June & November) and staff remembers us from year to year … its GREAT

THIS RESTAURANT IS KNOWN FOR ITS DELICIOUS FOODS. My son had steak and eggs which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the best tasting hamburger with toasted bun I've had in many years. Coconut pie for dessert was great.

It was great until they decided to charge $2 for two split plate charges. We basically only gave our kids half our waffles and they charged us $2 for it. Terrible idea! Terrible business practice. This lowered my experience from an 8 to a 4 and a no return!

Service was not the best and when the server delivered the food, the bread was on her arms and she just took it off and placed it on my plate like no big deal. She also took the wrong order but I did not even want to bother her about it. The hash brown tasted old and of course I was right about it because once I went to pay upfront, I could see all the hash brown sitting on the grill waiting to be served to someone else.

The Waffle Way definitely has THE BEST waffles in town!! It's a small family-run restaurant that makes it cozy and friendly, good for couples or family. It's our favorite place for waffles and other breakfast specials.
