disappointed in new menu. prices went way up. menu is harder to read. pretty, but not user friendly considering there are older people selecting their favorite's that are either not on the menu or can't be found on the menu. a simple breakfast cost over $21.00 for two with no drinks at all. things added were ale cart. one of the reasons for coming here for years was good food at a good value. there are three other restaurants that do that better now since things have changed here.

Their sausage patties are ALWAYS like hockey pucks. They must start all of them on the grill at 6 in the morning when they open the restaurant and then dole them out thruout the morning

My husband had turkey dinner and his turkey was smothered in gravy BUT it wasn't hot. They also mixed up potato on two of the plates but otherwise it was good. Reubens are excellent.

Excellent service...excellent food! FYI...the whole belly fried clams are far superior than the Saybrook Fish House down the road...and the tarter sauce is awesome, too!!

I asked if they had any gluten-free bread and they said, "no, but a lot of people have been asking about it." Wouldn't that tell someone that would be a good idea? GF bread is kept in the freezer and doesn't go bad, so if they had it on hand, it would be there for someone to ask for it.

we had a server who was new, so things were a bit slow :( but it was ok... tried to order prime rib, out of it.. and ordered butternut squash for 2 meals, only to findout when meals were delivered they were out of that too, son's burger was not that great, neither was my chicken... but lobster buisque was terrific and so were other meals...

I think for the food the price was excellent and the food delicious. The calamari was fantastic but I am used to having them with marinara sauce and this was served with a ketchup cocktail sauce not big on that I think I would ask for diff sauce

The Log House had a special- Hot Lobster Roll with Potato Salad. It was delicious. We also had homemade banana cream and chocolate cream pie for dessert. It was worth the cost!

The waitress was very kind, attentive, and didn't put any pressure on us even though it took us a while to decide what we wanted. Our only negative was that the garlic in the pasta was VERY strong. We wondered if it was powder instead of natural. It made the next few hours a bit unpleasant for everyone.

Our baked shrimp was cold and had to return to finish cooking. Our t-bone was raw near the bone but did not notice it until I ate the cooked area. The meat was tough and not worth $16. Will try this place again with lower expectations like fried clam strips......
