We had a child's birthday party there. It accommodated 20 people. Pizza was really tasty and large. Also had calzones, salad, meatball sandwiches and soup. Everything was delicious. Service was a little slow but maybe due to our large group.

We came in a large group and were accommodated nicely. Service was a little slow, especially at first to get our drinks, but I think that is because there was only 2 servers working the entire place and only 1 server for our party of 11. Server also didn't have much wine knowledge, but overall we had a good experience. Food was delicious! We had lasagna, spaghetti, pizza, cheese bread, chicken parm and they were all good. Nothing too fancy, but not a hole in the wall either. Meals are reasonably priced, especially for the area. Had no problem using certificate

Service was good. Restaurant was very warm. Ceiling fans were inappropriate for indoor dining and only one was on. Very dirty too. Food was horrible!Pasta was way overcooked and mushy. Eggplant was rubbery and dry. Salad was wilted and drenched with dressing. Scampi was rubbery and drowning in a tasteless sauce with tons on tomatoes. Very unappetizing with zero flavor.

The server was excellent. The food was not good at all. I ordered pizza with sun dried tomatoes and got regular tomatoes. All the food tasted very bland. The eggplant maybe was not fully cooked because it was very hard/ tough texture to cut and chew.

The young waitress was too unfocused/inexperienced to handle her duties well. We had to wait 15 minutes to get our drinks. Mistake with the order. She served two guests their foods and forgot the third guest. No refills of drinks. Mistake with the check. Yes, she was nice but that's not enough. Meanwhile the owner? Or other wait staff had a personal dining party. And left only two wait staff on the floor.

They were very flexible and accommodating with our reservation for a large group. The restaurant was comfortable and the food/choices were great. Everyone in our party was very happy with the taste & portions sizes of their food. The servers were pleasant but not terribly attentive. Our bottle of wine was just set on the table without tasting/pouring it for us. We went there for a celebration, so we didn't let that any of that bother us. Overall a very good experience, and I'd go again if we lived in the area.

When ordering the roast chicken, inform the customer it'll take 30 minutes to cook. We waited for my meal, but it was worth waiting. Chicken was excellent; great tasting, flavorful, and the spinach was awesome.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Old Town Pasadena -- their "meat lover's pizza" is excellent and their minestrone soup, a must have. Their prices are reasonable and the food and the service are always consistently great!

It is a relatively small restaurant, so service is usually good. The servers tend to be attentive, but not overly so & make sure you are satisfied with every part of your meal.

Our waiter as extremely accommodating and pleasant. Food was excellent, the Deep Dish Pizza is amazing! The Lasagna was wonderful, and the Manicotti was the best I have ever had, it was a Birthday for my Granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the service and the ambiance.

There were no drink prices on the menu...feel totally scammed by being charged $3.75 for plain ice tea!!! When asked the waitress said there was a separate drink menu which she "forgot to give us." Stuff like this is why restaurants lose repeat customers !

We had our favorite entrée, Shrimp Scampi, with big FRESH perfectly done shrimp in a sauce of FRESH tomatoes slices and FRESH basil leaves in an exquisitely flavored base with no tomato paste or sauce. For the side we chose the FRESH Sauted Spinach, which is also delicious. We should have stopped at the entrée. The minnestrone soup tasted oily and salty without much other flavor, and the cheesecake and tiramisu desserts were heavy and dry. That is why I rate the quality of the food as Good instead of Excellent

the food arrived late and pizza had cold sauce under the cheese, probably from fridge ! the toppings were incorrect and our waiter agreed and brought us another half pan pizza again ( since we were half through with the original one )again with wrong toppings. We think the kitchen is short staffed, the owners were out that night for their birthday. The place is nice and casual brick wall atmosphere great for families, seating and tables are tight, not suitable for larger crowd over 10. Repeat your order twice to your waiter.

my friend thought food was good; I felt sauce was too sweet, including the pasta sauce; my spinach was chopped frozen, marsala was too sweet; I ordered meatball sandwich, asked to have cut in half, wrapped to go; we were slightly in rush, so the waiter wrapped my leftover sandwich, BUT FORGOT TO GIVE US my perfectly good 1/2 from kitchen. Service was good. 10:30pm when realized after a show in Hwd, it was too late to call.

The food is really good here, the thin crust pizza is great and not super thin and I love the baked ziti and Cesar salad. The sauce fir the pizza and pasta is really good. I originally tried this place using the certificate but I have back without one too.

The food was amazing. We had a house salad, and were impressed by the great taste of the house balsamic dressing. A calamari appetizer was large enough to share. Alfredo pasta with chicken and a slice of the New York style pizza. Everything was fabulous and I am already looking forward to coming back for some more of that pizza. It really is some of the best I have ever had!

The food was EXCELLENT, but the service was so poor I don't think I'll ever dine in again. They said there was free refills on drinks but they never offered to refill our drinks even one time during our entire visit. There is also no food (breadsticks or the like) to tie you over while you're waiting for your food, and you can't fill up on your drink because you just have the one. Also, either the owner or just a waitress had her cell phone on the bar that would go off loudly, for a long time, while she was in the back until she came back out. It was irritating to say the least.

I do not remember a time when I was treated so poorly at a restaurant. Our main waitress was so incredibly rude I could hardly believe it. It was clear that she had an attitude, though I am not sure what about. She did not say one word when she put our food on our table, nor did she say anything when she dropped off our bill. I don't remember her smiling once and she did her best not to make any eye contact. She completely ignored us the entire time we were there and to top it off, she asked us twice if we wanted the change from our bill despite receiving an 18% gratuity. The second time she asked with an attitude as if to suggest that we were being ridiculous for wanting all of our change. I was looking forward to having a nice dinner out with my family but I left that restaurant feeling completely mistreated and very upset. Very, very bad for business.

Food was generally overpriced for the quality and quantity. The fried zucchini appetizer was obviously purchased frozen and for $9 I'd expect a lot better than that, not to mention the tiny amount. The pasta dish tasted pretty good, but again for the portion size at $13 I'd expect a salad or at least some bread to come with the order. I can see why we were the ONLY people in the restaurant for the whole hour we were there.

Service was fair, not great. had to make 2 requests for water. Food was nothing memorable, shrimp scampi and eggplant parm, too many tomatos on the shrimp scampi and the eggplant was flavorless and the sauce was plain. May return to try the deep dish pizza that a neighboring table ordered.

I ordered a chicken dish and on the first bite the chicken was clearly spoiled. I could've gotten sick if I finished it. I took a chance and thedish was prepared again. It was good the second time. I can't take chances with my health so I won't be back. I may have come back had my food been fresh the first time. Also, for the quality of food the prices are too high.

There was too much lemon added to the shrimp scampi where there was an acidic aftertaste. Had the special pizza with 6 toppings. Need to balance the quantity of each of the toppings on the pizza. Seemed like olives dominated the pizza.

It was good. Not great. The pizza was too much bread and not enough flavor. I don't think the bread had enough flavor or there wasn't enough sauce. But the quality if vegetables and meat was very good. I woul go back, if there weren't so many other pizza places near by. Maybe the entrees are better.

The only reason we did not give excellent on the food was because the Chicken Marsala was a little tough. The rest of the food was excellent! We tried a bit of everything ... garlic bread, pasta, pizza, etc. We loved it so much we are booking a birthday party there! Great find thanks to Restaurants.com! Have driven by the restaurant 1000 times and never noticed it before! Definitely will go back!

The corner of the glass top on our table cut the wrist of one of the people in our party. Besides this our experience was excellent although we do wish the pizzas could be made a bit faster! Even though the restaurant wasn't very full the server mentioned that the kitchen was quite busy. If there is demand then get more ovens!

Service was good until after we received our food. After that, no one asked to refill our cups of water. The table glass at my table was chipped and ended up breaking when it slid off the table and fell to the ground. Fortunately no one was hurt. We were moved to a different table, but the mess wasn't cleaned up during the time we were there. Not sure when they finally cleaned it up. My Lemon Pasta was just alright. VERY lemony and not much flavor to it. The pizza was good, though.
