Fresh hot food. Excellent flavor and great service
Only 2 complaints, the sausage was very dry and tough, and the bacon wrapped filet mignon was well done, who eats filet mignon well done?! They did bring out a med rare hunk when I asked tho. The salad bar had some very tasty items. Over all it was a very good experience, I will go back.
Where to start... over-cooked meat, sad salad bar, dated decor. Oh, and the same musical version of "The Girl from Ipanema" played on a never ending loop... it was the ONLY background music for an hour-plus. It's very hard to recommend this place.

The food was terrible. We only went because we had the $25.00 off coupon. Even at that, it wasn't worth what we paid.
Greater selection of foood would be nice. Like some fish, shrimp, scallops, etc.

The sides and salads were excellent. The zucchini soup was outstanding. Meats were delivered to us every time we were ready. Very good! Really enjoyed the meal! Will certainly return!

Personel gave special order in for serving of sweet potatoes without milk or butter. Explained items on buffet table. All entries were tasty and 10 different kind of meat were offered. Place was small and not real fancy. Linen tablecloths with brown paper covering. Music system had issue and was later turned off.

A large majority of the meat during this visit was primarily fat.
I've been here a few times and it's always a great experience. The staff is friendly and the food delicious. If I lived closer I would definitely go there more often.

This was the first time we ate at a Brazilian restaurant and the food was all delicious. Staff were extremely attentive. All the meats on the spits were tender and delicious.
It was gun getting all different meats. I believe we got 7 or 8 different pieces of meat. The sides are brazilian so a bit different. It would be funner in a big group. All the meats were cooked a little more well done than I would like.
Great food, nice selection, good wines by the glass or bottle, pleasant service, chocolate moose to die for!!

We’ve been dining at Terra Mar for probably 5 years and frequent the establishment 4 to 6 times a year. We dine there as a couple, with family and other friends. Service is always good and the food quality can be hit or miss at times depending on how busy they are. We keep it in perspective given the cost and it’s always a great value for us. We always look forward to having a meal there. It’s rare to not be greeted by the owner who enjoys engaging with his guests.
I just found out that I could request the kitchen to use less salt in the meat cut down on my plate. The food is nice and tasty but the salt is in the mid to hight side and serving grilled meat that is fully seasoned it makes it to dry and overwhelming.
The meats were savory and delicious ... the service attentive ... salad bar& hot buffet items and added treat - homemade sangria enjoyable and we took home a grilled pineapple for others that missed our night out

The website said $12.99 for 5 meats but we were told that was only for lunch. (Not stated on website) The two women in our group only ate 4 or 5 different meats but we had to pay the $24.99 for everyone. The steak was tough and too salty. The chicken and pork ribs were good. The lamb did not taste like lamb. A couple of items on the food bar were not identified so I took a small portion and did not like them.

The waiter was nice his name was Washington. The only thing he didn't ask was how we like our meat cooked so everything (all the meat) was overcooked and dry. We went in the restaurant around 4:30pm so everything seemed to be ready but the meat should not be cooked (the steak most of all) until the patrons are ready for it.
First time at a Brazilian Steakhouse, it was a unique dining experience. Its very easy to eat a lot more then you think you are consuming. Looking forward to a return visit.

The Brazilian style of cooking is to cook meat well-done, and we prefer it medium rare to rare. Had to ask specifically for the meat to be cooked this way.

The food was fantastic! Chef with skewers of different meats comes right to your table and carves you some. We were told to ask the chef for whatever we wanted and how we wanted it cooked so he could better serve us. The host was gracious and friendly. He answered and explained any questons we had. Wonderful experience! Pricey, but well worth every cent!
Not every serving of meat was cooked well. They ask how you like it but that's now how it comes out. Most was over done. We got there at 5 and they must have just turned on the warmers on the buffet because most of it was cold.

Marlete the owner’s wife is a nice lady and was friendly. I have been to several Brazilian Steakhouse in the Tampa Bay area and this one was by far the best. All the meats were so flavorful and the buffet bar had lots of choices and everything was fresh.
Hello. We have always had a delightful experience when dining at Terra Nar Brazilian Steakhouse. The staff greet and welcome you while offering to be of service throughout your stay. The food is non other than superb in every way,freshness, variety, taste, and appearance.

Not being a lover of meat dishes, I reluctantly went with my husband to this restaurant thinking I would eat mostly from the salad bar. To my delight, all of the meats were excellent. They were seasoned to perfection and had a great smoked flavor. I especially loved the green sauce that I lavished on them. I also enjoyed the eggplant lasagna, chicken salad and plantains at the salad bar. I highly recommend this restaurant for both food and service.

Great staff and salad bar. Very poor meat: tough, dry, and over-cooked. Chicken was the best of the meat selections. I had to spit out a lot of gristle in all the meat. The filet was uneatable. I'm sorry for the poor review, but I am being honest for any future diners.

We went here for our 11 yr anniversary yesterday. This place may not be much to look at from the outside and not so fancy on the inside. But don't let that fool you...This place has amazing food. It is top quality restaurant food and service at a reasonable price. The salad bar food alone was fantastic. Loved the pesto noodles and fried plantains. But you definitely have to go for the $25 and get it all. Every single one of the meats were perfectly cooked and delicious! Thank you TellaMar for a enjoyable Lunch. We will be coming back for more.

Lots of good meat
Try the lamb. It is perfectly seasoned and offers a choice not often available at local restaurants- delicious! Good side dishes include plantains, sauteed zucchini, eggplant, and potato salad. They also have a Brazilian soda which s great to try for a taste of something different. I don't care for bacon wrapped meats (although I love crispy bacon and wish they offered that alone as an option), but the cook was fine with accommodating my requests for extra rare cuts such as sirloin and, my favorite, the lamb. This restaurant is fine with you lingering and taking your time, especially on weeknights when they seem to be less busy. Staff is friendly but not overbearing.
Not happy with the changes to the salad bar. Pesto Pasta, potatoes, and the white chocolate chips are no longer in the mousse, I loved all of that stuff. And they where very slow bring the meat to the table. And would skip are table a lot of times. It was about 10 min in between each of the last two meats. It's the first time I ever left hungry. How ever loved the new zucchini and mashed sweet potatoes. The tabouleh was grate.
Excellent. At first I thought all your meat was well done, but then the gentleman serving the meat told me that he can get me medium rare if I like and I got what I like. what a great experience.

I was not impressed with the food or meat..as expensive as it was, you would think the the tables would have used cloth napkins and decent silverware..they ran out of diet pepsi and unsweetened tea..the atmosphere was so bland..the filet was chewy and that did make my decision for sure..My 2 other partners felt the same way..
Marta was an excellent waitress and very personable.The young man serving the meat was also very nice. Having read reviews concerning over cooked meat the first thing I did was mention that my wife and I like medium rare cooked meat. That is what we got. The house wine by the bottle was $16.00 and very good. We will be going back!!!

The salad bar which came with the meal was great. Great soup, nice dishes. The meat however was of low quality. It was mostly all tough. The ribs I had were the best thing, but disappointed about the meat being bad at a steak house. Its like they did not even tenderize it, threw it in a large flame and served it. Nothing special here but a waste of money. Salad bar only!
