Service was not great. Had to flag down waiter twice for napkins and salsa. No beans and rice with fajitas, very little lettuce and pico sauce, and guac. And PEAS in fajitas!! Haven't been in a long time, and this visit reminded me why!!!

The server had a sad, negative attitude from the start. It was obvious he didn't want to be there. Some of us asked not to have straws in our drinks (ocean conservation efforts) and we all had straws put in our beverages. We had reservations for our group and had to wait for the room to be set up when we arrived.

Great food with a good variety of choices. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and everything was delivered on time refills were automatically delivered and this was a busy evening dinner. Great environment.

We arrived at happy hour on a Friday evening! Even though the place was very crowded we were seated immediately! The waitress was awesome! She was able to relay our children’s bizarre request for food to the chefs and everything came out perfectly! Our grown-up meals were awesome as well! The food was fast well done and delicious! This may be the best Mexican food in the city of Fort Lauderdale. I'm from New Mexico and I know the real deal. They have their own style but there's not a bad item on the menu. It's also vegetarian friendly and has great margaritas. Top quality casual dining!

The entree needs to be served warmer than it has. This appears to be an ongoing problem since it has occurred everytime I have eaten there this past year. I end up sending my meal back to the kitchen to make it warmer. The plate is always hot to the touch, but the food is just warm or sometimes not even warm. I believe it can be much warmer when served.

The soup and salad bar was not the best food. Only one option for salad dressing. And my food the chicken ranchera was tough to chew and no flavor, very bland just like the rice. On the restaurant info it says it says Mexican you will never experience, well it's definitely not authentic Mexican. And what kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't give you tortillas? Not coming back or recommending.

We have been here many times but was very disappointed this visit. The house margarita was like water. The waiter had it made again. Still like water. The waiter brought some lemon and lime juice but it still wasn't good. I asked the bartender for straight sour mix top mix in our margaritas but that tasted like water. Whoever mixed up the sour mix did not put the proper mix to water ratio.so the meal started off wrong. We ordered one Sonoma burrito but it was inedible. The sauce has a sour off taste. I like cream sauces but this wasn't palatable. My husband ordered it and he couldn't eat it. The waiter offered to get it without the sauce, and that was better but by this time he had eaten enough salsa and chips. I ordered the crab chimichanga and it was ok. Very salty but I was able to eat some. Service was great and salsa very good. This was the first time we were disappointed her . We will wait a while before returning to try again.

I ordered an appetizer that came at the same time the meal came; but most of all, cookers were cutting onions and the whole restaurant atmosphere was filled with onion smell that made all people dining there with itchy and tears in eyes including my kid. It was terrible and there was no apologize from managers and not even a discount for having to struggle with this issue that made us to eat faster and run away sooner. Food was not so good either. Do not recommend.

There was no much ambiance. I think that being seated in the back near ruined the experience. Maybe if we were seated outside and could hear the entertainment it might have helped. Loved the chips and salsa provided before the meal, however, I was dissappointed with the quality of some of the food - the plantians tasted as if they were fried in oil that was already used for something else. My seafood buritto had a lot of flavor but there wasn't much seafood.

We tried the Tequila Sunrise margarita, la Rosarita margarita, and the Patron margarita. All three were delicious and the big size was so enormous, none of us could finish out drinks. The fajitas were well-seasoned, delicious, and PLENTIFUL! The atmosphere was fun and exactly what we were hoping for. We really enjoyed our dinner at Tequila Sunrise and would definitely go again.

I had many good experiences here, but now this is about the third "not so good" experience. I am noticing when the Owner is there everything runs smooth, but when he is not there is a lack of care. I believe the woman manager never thinks the customer is right. I have heard this from several people in my neighborhood who have dined at this restaurant. The owner should be there all the time.

This was not really very economical. We were not allowed Happy Hour prices for drinks. We have saved more money with coupons directly from Tequila Sunrise.

The service is usually good. Don't know if we picked the wrong night to go but it was my Grandson's BD and he loves TACOS. Service was slow, forgot to bring orders, burnt a dish so one member of the party had to wait while everyone else got their dinners...bad night oveall.

The previous time I ate at Tequila Sunrise, I was disappointed in the quality of the food. This time, however, the quality of my meal was the best it had ever been. I would certainly eat at Tequila Sunrise again.

Kitchen was slow, but food was excellent . . . best of ANY Mexican restaurant we have tried including San Diego.

Great atmosphere. Menu items were inviting, specials also. Food was fresh and really good. Music by Lizzy was a wonderful surprise. A great find, we will be back.

Just to clarify the first question only gives limited choices for an answer. We actually visit more than 2-3 times per year. We always receive good service and the food is always very and it is enjoyable.

The food is very good except the salad bar is sparce. The greens they offered on the salad bar were fresh but not enough variety. The fish tacos are the best in town!

2 of the 4 meals were good (Burrito Loco, Pork Carnitas). 2 were fair (Enchiladas Ranchero, Fish Taco) Sangria - fair House Wine - poor Service - good

the day was quite lovely for Fl we sat outside-nice little breeze. I've been coming there for about 5-6 years. The food was good but the waitress didn't pay attention and brout a few things that were cooked wrong & covered in sauce(I asked on side) every one has a bad day once in a while.

Our server went out of his way to help one in our party find a dish that would suit his taste. (He doesn't like cilantro!) Very attentative waiter.
