I kept getting someone who didn’t speak English even though there was someone there who spoke English along with my food constantly getting messed up and terrible service.
Order wasn't correct. Then asked for a side of grilled shrimp and they came back with sauce covered shrimp. Waitress, I do not think could understand English. She refilled water once.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed lots of free chips and salsa/queso, great food and polite, quick service.
Quick service; chips, queso and salsa along with a radish and pickled onion plate.
Good service and nice selection on the menu. They hand make the corn tortillas.
got there at noon on a rainy monday. server was nice, polite but had to be flagged down a couple times to place an order, refill a drink, and bring the check. food tasted really delicious....but was not hot. barely warm. we ate it anyway fearing sending it back would take a much longer time.
Service was horrible. Food was cold after it took 45 minutes to get to us. We have been there multiple times and this was the first time we had such horrible service and poor food quality.

The food always tastes fresh and homemade. Very good Mexican food. Love the carnitas, and last night, I have the bacon wrapped shrimp. Delicious!

Not much English, but the food is actually Mexican, it tastes great, and the service is wonderful. I try and eat here every time I come to Charlotte. Highly recommend. Use the hot sauces at the table conservatively.

Original waitress didn't speak English, but found another that did speak enough English to take our order. Very friendly environment. Nice place :)

Food was excellent but service was slack. The waitress rarely came back and checked on us so I had to keep getting up to ask for refills. And they were not busy.

The food didn't have much flavor. I got a plate with steak, chicken, and pork. The steak and chicken tasted like cooking oil with no seasoning. They didn't have any steak sauce such as A1. The pork had a good flavor, but it was inedible due to the large amount of tissue/fat in it.
Service was lacking. Took a long time for waitress to check on us. I was forced to give her a bigger tip than was deserved.

The servce was very poor and the waitresses acted like they didn't understant English. They brought out corn tortillas for fajitas and on the menu it stated that they were to be flour tortillas and they were going to charge us for the flour tortillas and we had to disagree with them and again look at the menu t prove our point. been dining there for several years...food can not be beat....service is slow...been going to some other Mexican restaurants in the area with better and faster service...Love the food here, though...I have to prepare myself for the slow service

Food was excellent! We ordered the "house margarita" which was a little pricey to me but well worth it! One of our favorite Mexican food places in Charlotte.
The food seems to be getting worse based on the first few mtimes i visited. Maybe they know me, and I always have coupons, so they give me less quality food.
I had steak fajitas. The steak was tough and in small thin chopped pieces. Did not enjoy meal.
