The food was excellent, right along with the excellent service. Great atmosphere, plenty of choices on tap to choose from. Great little town. Wish it had been dinner time instead of lunch time, I would of loved to try their steaks!

Don't drive past the Stubborn Mule without stopping to eat! We lack good food in this area and the Mule is our one saving grace. And the crew working there are the best n friendliest around. Great food and plenty of it. Especially the Saturday nite Prime Rib dinner which is smoked!Not just saying this becuz we live here. The Mule rocks!'n

Not only is the food the best in Wallowa County but the staff are awesome. The smoked prime rib dinner special on Saturday nites is the best we have ever had! Nicole is so nice and never lets us down with her on the spot service. All their menu is nummy too!
