Ate at a table in bar. Did not get a bread basket, butter for my potato ask for Blu cheese crumble on the side for my salad got them on top of my salad. Bartender made extra unnecessary trips because of his lack of paying attention to serving. Waited an extra 30 minutes to pay the check after being given to us.

I have been a Casa Capri customer for over 20 years. This was the best meal I have had there "EVER". The quality of the ingredients and the detail in the preparation was perfect. Shrimp was excellent quality and cooked perfectly, the sauces were flavorful and complex. I have to stop...my mouth is watering.

We came in (called first) drove there only to find out they weren't taking any more reservatios for EVENING (mind this was 5pm). Food quality was poor. I grew up in Kenosha and had much higher expectation.

We had to wait for awhile to be seated even with a reservation. The food was not up to our expectations. The fish was good, but the other dishes were below average and for an Italian restaurant, the meatballs were lousy. The prices were a bit high, too.

This could have been excellent if the gross frozen vegetables had been fresh vegetables. The rest of the meal and the experience was top notch. The frozen vegetables is an area for improvement.

This site does not allow me to put in dollar amt. (Never happened before) Waitress was rather loud & not friendly. Food was cold and sent back. Took a long time to get our order. Must be under new ownership or something. Several yrs. ago we ate there food, service, and etc. was great. Now I understand why there was only 3 tables there, so can't blame the service as they were so busy. Sad because we have a 50th anniversary coming and had planned to have a dinner there with family & friends.

I called ahead and made a reservation.... When we arrived at our reservation time, I was informed that the girl forgot to write down my reservation so we had to wait about an hour past our reservation time. I called to let them know that it was a surprise for my cousin and mother's birthday...... Our server (young guy was terrific!!!! Kudos to Zach)

We ate on the outdoor patio. It was very nice until several smokers came - then not so great. Our waitress, Laura, is always fun!
Did not have reservation, which was necessary for Fri night. Had space out on patio which was nice due to good weather, no bugs, etc. Husband enjoyed salmon, daughter and I swapped combination platters to sample 7 different items...all of which tasted the same and overly salty. Good just too much of the same taste. Took leftovers home.

The last 2 times we ate there we went before a play so we had a time limit on us. That was too bad because we ate in the bar section. They were very accommodating, we had to get our own drinks and order food at the bar, but service was fast and served to our small table. The dinning room would have been more relaxing to sit in but the bar was friendly, has a cozy fireplace and the food was served quickly. Making reservations early is best because therealways seems be a wait on weekends.

Tables for two were too crowded.
Our first time having pizza there was less than optimal, crust slightly burned and a little overdone. Otherwise rest of food good. Other meals had there in past were better. Would definitely try them again later though.

Excellent waitress. We love the Frank Sinatra-Dean Martin-Italian background music. Overall noise is low due to carpeting. We love the fact that there is no television in the dining area. We don't patronize restaurants with televisions. The food is excellent. Chairs and booths are comfortable.

I ordered the filet da Oscar with crab meat, asparagus and a wonderful sauce on top. I ask for medium rare. not only was the meat cooked to perfection, I truly enjoyed every bite. The atmosphere was very romantic and my husband and I enjoyed reading about the history of Kenosha and Casa Capris within the restaurant. We will definitely be back.
We had an extraordinary server, a tall young male, Carthage student, Bradford graduate. I'm sorry I can't think of his name at the moment. He made the dining experience extra special. The only minor negative was the iceberg lettuce salad. I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce, BUT the quality of the soup, and main entree make up for it. Thank you for being such an outstanding restaurant.

The onion rings were dripping with oil. After complaining, the waitress said "the kitchen apologizes". nothing else. Salad was warm and wilted.Main course was good.

We love the background music. While the food is excellent, the bread in the basket seems cheap and mediocre. You could also upgrade the Tiramisu. Other places (Wells Brothers) have better Tiramisu. The waitstaff is excellent. Casa Capri is one of our favorite restaurants. I'm a vegetarian and there are 3 vegetarian entrees on the menu. Thank you for not having TVs in the dining room. If we watch TV, we do it at home. We avoid restaurants with televisions.

The atmosphere was nice, the service attentive and friendly, the presentation enjoyable, the portions generous, but the taste was mediocre. Not what I'd expect for the money. One of our adult children only ate a few bites of her entree; another didn't want to take her remaining food home (quite unusual for a poor college student). My husband enjoyed the Sicilian steak. The giant tiger shrimp were huge and tasty. The deep fried mushrooms were rubbery. We won't make the drive again.

I was not offered a choice of dressing on my salad, and the dressing that was provided was mixed in already and contained an excessive amount of minced garlic. Overall I felt that, even with a discount, the food was not worth what was paid.

Had pizza in the past which is excellent, but fish dinners we had this time were just fair.
The bartender should not have to go to the kitchen and get meals to serve to people at the bar. We saw him leaving the kitchen a couple of times. The bar was backed up, the waitress told us, and if you had a server for the bar, the bartender could do what he needs to do at the bar.

We eat here often and have always had excellent food, until this visit. The lasgna was very good but I ordered the pasta fettucini - it was awful, tasteless, gritty. Our waitress was wonderful, offered to exchange it for something else. I ordered shrimp scampi, it too was not very good.

I love Stella's! It is a supper club reminiscent of back in the day. The food is great. But keep in mind that it is a supper club, and part of the atmosphere is to take your time eating. My husband and I were in a little of a hurry to see a movie, and the food took a little longer than we expected, but it was great.

I really like dining here. I would have rated excellent in the food/experience categories if they would use olive oil in their dishes. This is the second time I have had a dish that should have olive oil but instead had some other type of vegetable oil. I had the primavera this time which was supposed to have olive oil/white wine/romano cheese. The yellow heavy oil it was drenched in really altered the dish and it wasn't nearly as good as it could have been. Too bad.

everything was great except the gnocchi was more like a mashed potato consistency instead of a doughy one.
Closer attention needs to be paid to the salads being served before the main course. We received one half a cherry tomato and one half a small slice of onion. Also when I asked for Ketchup I was brought a small cup of it. I do not like to have my condiments portioned for me.

The appetizer that we got, breaded mushrooms, will be something that we will never get. I think that the bread was very crispy and I could taste water juice from the mushrooms. I was apprehensive of the pizza, but it was really really good!! We ate the whole thing!! The red wine was very good. Lambrusco with raspberry I think, was delicious.
Our waitress is awesome. We forgot her name, (it says server 1 on our receipt) She has dark upward swept hair, and is fairly petite Our bus boy was efficient and delightful. (Zach?, Bradford graduate, one of a twin) He'd be a great server! They made our dinner very delightful. Thank you.

We love goping to Casa Capri. The food is excellent, the atmosphere warm and the staff if great. Keep those dining certificates available.

We have visited Stella's Casa Capri on numerous other event occasions. Their staff is super friendly and their buffet food and/or pizza is always great during these events. I am glad we decided to eat their for dinner that evening. The only critique is that the seating could be arranged a little differently for couples to come and dine together as there were small tables right near where everyone came in. Yes, we decided to sit there because we didn't want to wait 45 mins. Rachel, our server, was very nice and attentive as well as the buser that was on staff. I felt like our meal was also timed very well. Thank you for a really nice dinner :)
Originally heard about Stella's through the Kenosha Menu Guide, but never visited. restaurant.com gave provided a nice perk to go. It's one of our fav's. Kudo's to Jessica our fabulous waitress.
The service and the food were very good and we will be back. I love the atmosphere of the place, it is warm and inviting.

Unfortunately, based on a choice said by the waitress there was a mixup in what I ordered and my entree was not what I would have liked that evening. It was otherwise a good choice, but not what I wanted. I'm sure if I insisted on re-ordering it wouldn't have been a problem, but then my wife would have finished her entree while I waited for mine to be replaced. The experience took something away from what would have been an otherwise enjoyable evening. It's a long drive from where we live so that added to my disappointment. We'll go back but it will be awhile to summon the interest again.

Considering what we ate (2 pizzas, fish fry and chicken alfredo. Only one of the 7 of us had a drink. Rest of us had either water or soda. Price was a bit steep.

We tried the pizza and were a little disappointed. My daughter had a dinner and she said it was good. The waitress was excellent.
My stuffed shells were lukewarm, I had to send them back to be reheated. Other than that, I enjoyed it.

The place was packed and there were only two servers. I rated the service "good" rather than "excellent" only for that reason. She could not have done better.
Everything was great, keep up the good work. The young man who was the busboy was also hard working.

My only criticism is that I had a cream-based pasta dish that was billed as a "light cream sauce" and it was anything but light! Tasty, but not as advertised!

The pizza is still great. The rest of the food was mediocore at best and it is as expensive as a fine dining restaurant without the quality. We will not be eating there ever again. We will get pizza to go,but that lets out buying certificates from you for there.

We entered at 8:00 on a Fri night. The tables were very busy. The hostess was nice and offered to take our pizza order before we sat down since it would be a 25 minute wait. The wait was about 10 minutes and the night went well. We would definitely visit again.

Liquor was included in the coupon even though we did not have any. (On a previous restaurant.com coupon an Illinois restaurant told me when I ordered that alcohol was not covered but it was not stated on the coupon.)
The electrical causes the lights to blink as you eat, it was like this for months and that is why we have not gone back more often as we do enjoy the atmostphere and the food, but the lighting needs to be fixed!

We had an exceptional meal last night. I was pleasanatly surprised to find salmon on the regular menu perfect & not a bit fishy-tasting. The relish served with it just made the taste all the better. The broiled vegetables and boiled red potatoes were delicious, too. Another person had a scrumtious veggie pizza and the 3rd person in our party had fettucine alfredo w/shrimp, which she couldn't even finish. Even the coffee was fresh & delicious. Our server was terrific, too. I have dined at Casi Capri for many years, and this was one of my best experiences. I would dine more often if I could, but I must come from a distance to do so, so I don't get to Casa Capri as often as I would like to.
