This place needs refreshing in the atmosphere and in the air.
It was very relaxed, meaning you didn't feel rushed through the various courses.
Poor food and poor service
Our waiter, Lorenzo, was very helpful.
Short staffed on a Thursday night...who does that in Gruene??? No Hostess to find out if we should seat ourselves or what? Took a long time for our server to get a drink order from us and then a long wait to get our iced tea and chips/salsa. Let's just say that it took a LONG time to get done (we arrived at6:30 and left at 8:45!!!) The only redeeming thing of the whole night was the fried avocado we ordered, they were DELISH!!! Sorry Adobe Verde, when I worked in New Braunfels, I would eat there at least once a week but no more.
Food was good and fresh and waitress was helpful.
Bartender and waitress were very attentive.

I've been here for breakfast but never for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed my prime rib and my husband loved the fillet. I was quite pleasantly surprised at the quality of the steak and the wonderful job they did in preparing it. A great deal even without the coupon ($16.50/10oz prime rib, $14.95/8oz fillet) but the coupon made it even better.
When our server came to take our order, she never told us any specials. I asked if there were any and she had to go check. She came back and told us about the fish special. Later, we overheard another server telling of a lobster appetizer special. We also never got any bread and had to ask for it. Your bread is FANTASTIC and should always be given to your clients. It is very different and tasty and worth a trip just for it!
Our food was good but just as important our server was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive and pleasant.
Staff was accomodating and food was delicious!
