beachy atmosphere. food stillhad ice crystals in the meat (crab) mediocre sauces.
It was hard to find, but in a cute idyllic setting with a beautiful sunset over the gulf. The service with Mary was courteous and friendly and the food was good. We asked the chef to back off on the hot sauce, and he did. Recommended for good dining!
Awesome atmosphere. Ate on the deck where there was live music. No trouble using our restaurant.com deal! Manager and waitress were both great! Highly recommend! ????????

This was our 3rd time to eat at Poppy's. the meal choices are limited, but we all enjoyed our dinner. Poppy's sits at the foot of the pier, so the location is perfect for watching the boats and people. We sat outside where we listened to some great music, until the storm rolled in. It poured rain for about 30 minutes. Our waitress, Alyssa took good care of us until the storm passed and the sun reappeared.

Just get passed the miserable host and everything else was great.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Sandestin! Blackened lobster is world class. Service is amazing, servers are very personable & committed to customers truly having a memorable experience.
Crab claws, shrimp & jambalaya were great but the chargrilled oysters outdid everything! Only complaint was store-bought cocktail sauce.
The bartender Pickle and Dallas are both great and the manager Billy is an asset
We got the seafood boiled combo and shared amongst the four of us. It was very good.
New Orleans style cuisine was too spicy for our tastes.
After taking our order we waited 15 minutes for my salad and my husbands gumbo. The waiter didn’t listen to what I ordered. I ordered a salad with on onions and bell peppers. When my salad came it had these items in it. I ordered boliled shrimp and he bought me fried shrimp. My husband to,d him I had not ordered the fried shrimp.
Overall, we were happy with our dining experience. The adults and children in our party were all pleased with their meal, service, and atmosphere. We went in the late afternoon.
Barbara and Trevor were awesome. Live entertainment was delightful.
The food was served freshly prepared and was timed perfectly so that we could enjoy our appetizer, salad and soup before serving the main entree. Everything was exquisite!

The steamed seafood bucket was delicious! Plenty of fresh seafood. Also the crawfish etouffee was a hit.

Food and the atmosphere was exceptional. Our waitress though was not very attentive. Drinks were empty most of the night.

The baked oysters were the best I have ever had! The boiled shrimp were perfect. The portions were generous. The salad was fabulous and generous in size. We will definitely be back!
Great seafood platter, salad and bread pudding! The service was great, atmosphere was very nice on the deck with live entertainment - will definitely dine here during our next Destin vacation!
