The Pavilion Restaurant in Northbrook, IL is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely delicious from soup to dessert (see Apple Strudle below). Everything we ordered was fresh and perfectly prepared. We dined early and it was not busy so we had a wonderful chance to talk with Amy Mazur, the manager who suggested dishes and who treated us like royalty. If you want to try very reasonably priced superior ethnic food, this is the place for you.

Server was very nice, but we had to ask for our soup that took at least 30 minutes to come out. Food was very good. some of the bread was very hard, other soft. They had a large party who seemed to get very good service, they must have been part of a group that went in and out of the banquet area. The room was a little noisy.

We are very happy with the experience. The dinning room is quiet so we have good conversation without loud music. It is specially good because one of the people has hearing aid and it helps a lot without loud noise. The decor is comfortable.

The waiter and food was good, but it took a long time to get it from the kitchen and what appeared to be the owner was sitting at a table drinking and bossing the waiter to keep supplying them with drinks and not acknowledging the paying guests in the restaurant sitting there waiting for their food.

The food and dining experience are excellent. Too bad that more people don't know about the restaurant. We usually dine for lunch and there's not many people in the dining room. The manager says it's because the clientele may be snowbirds.

We pass the restaurant on the way to shopping or other appointments. the first two times we had a great meals and we invited my son and grandsons to join us for the third time. Three of the fove meals were terrible and poorly prepared. we sent them back and they were worst. the third time I ordered something else and it was cold. I had to give my grandsons (age 8)grilled cheese when we got home. Pretty bad when we just spent almost $100.
