There was an odd musty smell in the restaurant. Staff members didn’t look professional or uniformed. Flaming appetizer was good. Entrees were just “ok”. Sauces on Phoenix Dragon entree were very sweet.

Our second visit....we ordered 6 plates which we didn't try on our first visit. We like all 11 plates. We got a few favorite like the #31, honey chicken, and garlic chicken.

Great food! We have an Orange chicken, Happy family, Chicken and vegetables, and a number #31(don't remember the name but it was noodles. The spring rolls and soups were great. We had egg drop and wonton. It was so good that we even got some garlic chicken to go. We'll be back often.

My husband and I used to dine at Oriental Garden when we lived in the area; however, after moving farther north, it wasn't convenient. After trying many restaurants offering similar cuisine, we determined there was none better than Oriental Garden. So the drive was well worth the time, the ambiance is just as I remembered; waiter was courteous and brought out the food in a timely fashion after each course, and the food was just delicious. It was a very pleasant dining experience and we will definitely make the drive again soon to enjoy Oriental Garden.

Until tonight, we have never had a bad meal at Oriental Garden. My meal and the appetizers were delicious. My husband ordered Lemon Chicken. He was so disappointed in the way it tasted and prepared. We told the waiter and he just said that's the way it comes. He never offered to give him something else or take something off our bill. I don't know if it is their policy to have displeased customers or what. We rarely send food back to the kitchen anywhere we go. The Lemon Chicken really wasn't good tonight.

The restaurant is definitely dated and does have the musty smell others commented about. However, the food is great and the service was good too. We were lucky enough to get there during happy hour (M-Th 3-6), so my husband enjoyed a couple of half priced beers! We thought the family dinner was a great value. For $12.95 each, we had a soup (husband's won ton was superb and loaded with meat. He was impressed), an appetizer plate (each had egg roll, BBQ rib, and crab/cheese puff) and our main entree. The General Tso's chicken was nice and crispy, perhaps a little too overcooked, but delicious nonetheless. Fried rice comes free of any upcharge as many other Chinese restaurants do. We enjoyed our experience and hope the owner does something about the dated and musty interior so we can be regulars. The value and quality of food is definitely there.

Restaurant is quiet, which makes conversation easier than at some noisy venues. Food is tremendous. Service usually very good, too.

Service was a little unfriendly. You must remember that if you are going to give a discount to these first time customers, you must treat these customers better than your regular customers or else dont give the discount. The first impression is the lasting impression. It takes three good impressions to erase a bad impression!!

This was my first purchase of a restaurant.com certificate and I am pleased and surprised by user friendly highly discounted dining certificates. Our dining experience at Oriental Garden was good as we've grown to expect,since we dine at the Oriental Garden Restaurant several times a year.

DELICIOUS and the amount of it was generous (the Dinner Menu). We went on Sunday at noon and they allowed use of the certificate but only if we ordered from the "Dinner Menu" and not use the Lunch specials. Will go again.
