I had shrimp korma. While the Korma was delicious and served hot (temp wise), the shrimp were very dissapointing. They were hard and "dried out" as if they had been frozen. A little overpriced for the quality of the shrimp
The server was rather disinterested. My dinner was overly acidic (vinegar), not a spicy as requested, and the server implied I was not familiar with the dish. I had eaten it there several times before, but last year.

Nice atmosphere- such a pretty restaurant. Service was a bit tentative- maybe they were new to the job? The Tandoori mixed grilled was a bit bland and overcooked. Our other dishes were perfectly delicious.

Overall, everyone enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere, and we would return again. I was pleased that four items on the lunch buffet were vegan. My only suggestions for improvement to deserve a 5-star rating would be to clearly label the vegan options on the buffet and the menu, for the servers to be more knowledgeable regarding vegan options (including ghee and paneer, which are not vegan), offer vegan roti as a substitute for naan at no additional charge for those who do not consume any dairy products, and deliver the naan/roti to the table sooner so that it can be eaten with the food (It came when we were halfway done with our meal).

You can tell how An excellent restaurant is by the quality of food, New Moghul is excellent. But its atmosphere and service is equally excellent! Especially how it also treats children !

My husband and I rarely get a chance to dine out especially to ourselves. This was a special occasion to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The food was terrific! It was busy so we sat in the bar. The bartender was our waiter also and apologized they were a bit slow because of new staff but we had no problem with the service. Overall, this restaurant is best local restaurant we have been to in years. We will definitely dine here again!

The service was poor. We had to wait a long time to get someone to come to and check on us in regards to the food. Also our waiter was new and didn't know the menu so could not answer our questions, We ordered dessert and it came with no utensils to eat it with and I had to wave frantically to get the waiter's attention, This all happened with a almost empty restaurant. Only 4 booths were occupied besides ours.

The food was very tasty and fresh! I do not know a lot about Indian cuisine but all the food we ordered was delicious and satisfying. Waiter was attentive and respectful, atmosphere was calm and peaceful and very clean. We had plenty of food leftover and took quite a bit home.

The food is full of delicious and subtle flavors not found anywhere else. Spiciness is exactly as you request which is a HUGE plus. The ingredients used in the dishes are the finest quality and freshness. the Nan and sauces served alongside the dishes are sumptuous and plentiful. The service is highly polite and professional while being attentive to just the right degree; always there when you need it but not overbearing. The prices are reasonable and of great value for the excellent quality and generous, delicious portion sizes. Typically there is plenty to take home for lunch or dinner the following day. I give it 5 stars; all day long, every day of the week (and twice on Sunday!). Also they have an attractive, comfortable bar area where you can easily see and hear a game on the TV or carry on a conversation. Bartenders are polite and interesting to chat with.

Every staff member was very friendly and welcoming. Excellent service! The food was good, not exceptional. We also find the prices for dinner a bit high. We have been Indian food fans for many years and also cook it ourselves often. Perhaps our standards for quality and authenticity are higher than most. We will return for Happy Hour and Dosa, probably not for dinner.

Moghul is wonderful! The atmosphere is peaceful, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff is EXCELLENT (and having been a waitress and restaurant manager, I'm incredibly picky) and the food is always incredible.

Enjoyed the food and the staff was pleasant and generally helpful but service took a very long time. Entered restaurant when about 1/4 tables filled and still did not even have apps for about an hour. Dinner was over 2 hrs long and we had a 3yo with us so it was a challenge. Food was good the next day especially the Saag Panang.

We had the crispy eggplant appetizer and it was out of this world! Then we each had our own meals along with three different naans. The restaurant was VERY busy, so the waiting time was a little longer than usual, but the service people were very attentive.

Outstanding food, sporadic service. Greeted and seated immediately and courteously but it went downhill after that. There seemed to be a coordination problem among the several servers who did various things with our table. No chips and dip brought (customary there) so we asked one of the servers but nothing ever arrived. The water pourer skipped one of our party on refills and had to be called back. One waiter asked if we wanted dessert and we ordered it, but our check was brought by another before the dessert was added. They did comp one dessert when they realized the mess they'd made. It was a 3-ring (or 3-server) circus. They should fix this. The food is exceptional and the service drags down the overall experience.
The food was great, the service not so much. We love to eat here and have never had bad service until this time. They were not that busy either. I hope it was a 1 time thing.
