They honored the certificate on Mother's Day. Due to the pandemic the order was take out.

It is Tuesday Nov 20 and it is 9:20 EST as I am writing this review, I have a stomach ate, I will probably have to take something before going to bed. I was my worse Italian food experience ever. Not to mention, my wife & I were celebrating our 19th anniversary with the kids.
Service was very slow and we were the only people in the restaurant!
Quick service, warm bread with dipping oil, dinner requests were easily managed and the server was neither hovering nor elusive.
Polite, wonderful waitress!
The pasta sauce was ok. Gnochi was good. the eggplant in the eggplant rolanti was kind of course and not soft
The food & service was very good. I was pleasantly surprised because the place didn't look like it would be as good as it was. It was very small like a pizza place with a few tables & booths. I'd go back.
The waiter was attentive, the food good, a lovely and generous salad was included - a nice surprise!
this price was with only 1 entree after coupon was used. meal was served with sour mushrooms and appetizers that didn't feed 2 people. 13 dollars for 3 slices of garlic bread 1 crab cake 1 mushroom stuffed with spinach. its called there sampler... sample what?

The eggplant rollatini tasted as if it had been frozen and then put in the microwave. Some of it was heated, other parts cold. It was also over fried. I had asked for sauted spinach instead of pasta with my dish. Instead I was brought a spinach salad. The waitress was non-existent. Overall it was a poor experience

They have happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers. There is also a pub, which has music on certain nights. In the warm weather there is an outdoor patio. The bread is excellent. The menu is quite varied and has some german specialties. You can have a burger, or a regular entree. There's something for everyone.
Burger, BBQ wings and pulled pork nachos were awesome. The only recommendation would be to put in some sound proofing foam as the remodeling has made the acoustics unbelievably loud when conversing.
Quiet and great to be able to have a conversation without screaming.

FANTASTIC FOOD. It was as authentic as you get! The waitress was absolutely lovely and the whole restaurant is smaller and charming.If you're craving carbs, you have to try their BREAD. It's bread and olive oil accompaniment are homemade and utterly delectable. The olive oil soaks into the soft bread and my mouth is watering as I attempt to describe how delicious it was. And as all Italian meals are, it's also served with a fresh salad to balance out the meal.We ordered the crab cakes appetizer and boy was it fresh crab! The two dinner specials were amazing and had nothing processed or overly smothered in a cream or butter. It makes Olive Garden taste like a cheap replicant of this AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD.We had to take home half of both entrees because the bread and salad filled us so much. They also do catering so we'll definitely be using them in the future for a summer party!GREAT for a Saturday date night with lots of parking! So easy and accessible was the restaurant.

Some of the Scallops were sour. That just ruined our appetite. Didn't have Calamari and Garlic Bread that were both on the menu and they didn't have neither one. Also too over-priced for their menu.
Salad was delicious, calamari good, egg plant rollentini with bowties a little watery. Also, think there should be no charge for refills of coffee, most resturants do not charge Waitress was very efficient and accomodating

The baked ziti was not very good. It didn't taste like it normally does.

The customer service is always great. The atmosphere is always so peaceful. Last but not least the food is always great.
Overall condition of premises was poor. Dead plants on windowsill, and a general overall very dated and aged look.Server was excellent, but food needs major improvement. My special pork chop was way overcooked to the point of being dry and tough to cut. My wife's veal was better but still overcooked. Our appetizer of calamari was bland and definitely not home made. Our first beers tasted as if the glasses were not properly rinsed and had a soapy taste. Subsequent beers were better, but still had a mild soap taste. We were also charged Imported prices for the Yuengling beers, guess Pottsville Pa is a foreign country.Do yourself a favor and pass this place up.

Lobster bisque was really good, but main meal of veal salambucca was terrible, loose, runny, and a very watery sauce.
Warm bread served with Olive Oil was amazing. Much better than any of the appetizers we paid for. Stuffed mushroom, Calamari and "Fresh" Mozzarella appetizers were not great at all. I was worried but when the entree was brought out it was delicious.
we were the only table on the right side of the restaurant and the waitress didn't pay much attention to us. We constantly had to call for her to come over. The food was not fresh and mussels were over cooked and salty.

We were plesantly surprised.The food was delicious!We started with the Pick 3 Appetizer, which was our choice of any 3 appetizers from the menu. We chose, clams casino, stuffed portobello mushroom and fried calamari.The clam was a bit salty probably from the bacon, the portobello mushroom was delicious, it was stuffed with fresh sauteed spinach and mozzerella. The calamari was one of the best I have had. Dinner was served with a nice salad and fresh homemade bread. My husband had veal Parmigiana, 3 nice pieces of veal over linguini. I had the sole franchaise, 1 huge piece of sole in a very delicous wine, lemon & butter sauce served over linguini. I took half the fish and linguini home.It was a delicious dinner and yes I would go back!!!

We ordered the duck w/rice and the shrimp, chicken & beef in garlic sauce. The duck was very good and the sauce they used to flavor the rice was a great pairing - however the portions were small for a $17 dish. The three items in garlic sauce was also good but a slightly spicy (not noted on the menu) and was a decent portion for $17.

Atmosphere was cozy. Waitress was very friendly. Food was very good. Only thing wrong was they do not give enough pasta :(. It was good and we wished there was more of it!
Food was good but took too long
We were treated wonderfully by the waiter. We really enjoyed the food, but I thought it was just a little bit pricey. I would go again but I'd let somebody else pick up the tab.

The reason I gave it good instead of excellent was it would of been nice on the web site for their Octoberfest to say the specials didn't start till 2:00PM. We were there at 12:45PM. We drive over 38 miles to go there. We left and walked around Costco and then came back.Then we ordered something that had mash potatoes with it and were told they weren't available till later. It was fine because we didn't want potatoes but I thought why have it on the menu and we were there at 2:10PMThe food was wonderful.

We traveled a great distance to try this restaurant. Even though the food was excellent and the service was good I will not return here because it is a very noisy place. The music was too loud and I had to ask the waitress to turn it down. Since the restaurant has a large bar area a group of people were hanging out and caring on with loud conversations and even louder laughter.

The server,Teresa, was perfect..attentive and charming.
food good,staff nice, but loud playing of heavy metal music during dinner not appreciated. also a bit put off by large crucifix as decoration.
This restaurant is ultra-consistent in quality, value and service. I've been a regular for many years and recommend it as having the best Pad Thai anywhere.

Everything was outstanding with one exception - the veal Marsala dish had three gen,Eros slices of veal, but I could only eat one. Two of the pieces were too thick and I could not cut them.

This was prob. the worst dining experience I have had in recent memory. The food was OK, but the service was TERRIBLE. The table next to us had dirty plates on it from previous diners the entire time! We were the only table in the place, yet our salads took 10minutes to come out and we heard the kitchen ring the bell several times while the waiter talked to other guests at the bar. The waiter messed up our appetizer and entree orders. At the end of our meal we were finishing our drinks and felt rushed out, our entire table was cleared and TV was shut off while we were still there. I will never come back here and recommend that nobody else comes here either.
the only thing that was poor was the lobster bisque. it had a red sauce taste to it. didn't take like any lobster bisque that i've ever had.

This was absolutely the worst pasta we have ever had, both dishes. Gloppy, with a weird bad oil taste. No wonder the restaurant was empty. Should have guessed from the dirty rug and mat at the entrance, the many misspellings on the menu, the unreadable blackboard sign in front, and the totally empty room. I do not understand how this restaurant stays in business.
