We had not visited this restaurant in about 2 years. We decided to have dinner there as we knew the lamb and octopus are excellent. We were presently surprised that they had renovated the restaurant and the menu had been upgraded. Dinner was Great and so was the service. I'll be dining there again soon.

It was not a good as the previous times I was there. The steaks were very fatty. Much worse than we normally eat. In fact, we do not believe it was true to the on the menu. I'm sorry, but I do not recall the type of steak. - It was not cheap!

Legend's Grille is a diamond in the rough. A cozy little place out of the way but well worth the visit. The location may leave you second guessing your decision to go but once the food comes out, you realize that you hit on a great NJ restaurant. Our waitress was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is attached to the Days Inn. Since its small we called ahead to reserve a table. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived and were promptly seated. The waitress was very sweet , attentive and answered all questions we had about the menu items. I've eaten there once before a few years ago and the food is better than I remembered. This restaurants kitchen closes early ( at 8:30) on a Sunday.

First I ordered the porterhouse lamb chop. They did not have any more. The lamb chops my husband ordered as medium were raw inside. The waiter was very evasive when he tried to explain the different types of lamb chops. We asked for some ketchup and when our waiter did not bring it, we asked another waiter. This was a great surprise, my husband had steak that would melt in your mouth it was so good and I had salmon perfectly done. The Greek salad was very good and the salmon and cheese infused spinach was delicious. My husband had the basil lamb chops which we loved. All and all everything was very good.

Love this restaurant. Food is great and wait staff is excellent. Have never had a bad meal and have been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years. When the new owners took over last year we were not sure what would happen but its as good, if not better than before

Small intimate place, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the Salmon and it was perfectly cooked. My Boyfriend had the Whiskey Beef and it really was delicious.You wont be disappointed!

Four of us dined there on Saturday night and none of us were satisfied with our meal. The house dressing on the salads lacked flavor. The pork chops were "OK." The salmon was "edible," but the Chicken Marsala was not. My choice of the Shrimp Siciliano was awful. The shrimp was extremely overcooked and I didn't eat them, and the sausage in the meal was kielbasa, hardly a Sicilian ingredient. The vegetables and bread were the best part of the meal. We didn't dare order anything else, and left Legends to have coffee and dessert elsewhere. The confirmation of our disappointment came when none of the staff asked, "How was your meal?"

tHE ENTREES WERE SPOT ON AND THE SOUP OF THE DAY WAS AMAZING. tHE STUFFED MUSHROOM APP WAS IN NEED OF SEASONING. OVERALL THE MEAL WAS PLEASANT AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT.

When we saw it was in a motel, we expected mediocre food so the excellent meal was a real surprise.Prices of entrees were on the high side but they did also include a soup or salad and the soup was wonderful.Of course the coupon made it affordable.

Food as always was excellent but the waiter was not trained and forgot to order the appetizer - was going to do it when he brought the entree - we declined at that point. More attention to the wait staff training would be helpful
