All members of our party enjoyed their meal and the service was great.
The food is good. The service is bad. There were 3 waitresses on duty and for some reason we were being served by a worker from the attached bowling alley. Seems like very poor management. There is also NO kids menu. My 6 year old daughter got a burger she couldn't finish and we asked for something smaller, but we were told no. Adult portions and prices for eveyone.
Food was great… Service was great… Great atmosphere, personal, cozy.
The waitress was great and so was the food. It's a small diner inside a bowling alley so I had low expectations. I'm happy to say that I was wrong.

Our meals were supposed be shrimp scampi. There was No taste mostly noodles.I requested extra mushrooms and onions in which I had remind waitress three times.

It was my 30th birthday dinner. I asked the server if they had any candles for the cheesecake. They came out with candles lit and sang my happy birthday. Wonderful! But, on the downside, the salmon was very very dry. I could hardly eat it, but I put it in my to go box and I will eat it today.

Great food, atmosphere so so, is attached to a bowling alley served by the same kitchen. Fairly quiet, would go back again.
We met friends there and were warmly welcomed to the restaurant. Beverages were brought quickly and we were give time to select our dinner entrees. Our dinners were delivered in a very timely way and presentation of each was nice. I personally had the Grilled Lemon Chicken Salad, with the sesame dressing. It was excellent !! The other 3 in the party all said there food was very good, to excellent (another salad and 2 chicken fried steaks). They continued to check on us, even after we had finished eating and didn't mind that we sat and visited for some time. Thank you for the excellent customer service !
The waitress was friendly....but not very attentive. We waited a LONG time for service and to get our food......and then to even pay the bill was very time consuming. I could see our waitress but she didnt come to our table very often at all

Just getting your order taken seems to take forever. You would think drinks and a menu right off the bat, but not here. I'm afraid if we did order drinks we would have waited longer. Water and ice they seem to be short on, too.
Everything was good except the veggies in Taco Salad and cheese burgers were wet. Our children didn't want to eat the bun and I didn't want to eat the bottom of the Taco Salad. But everything else was wonderful; the decoration was very pretty and the server was a sharp thinker and a friendly person. We tipped her better than usual.
We were presently surprised by the quality of food. Our lunch was excellent and service was great.
The prime rib was ordered medium rare but was mestly rare to blue rare (mooing). The rub wss slightly flavorful, the roasted red potatoes were... rubbery like cooked in a microwave. I decided to take it home and slice, season and sear it myself.I've had better here before.. I'll call this an 'off' night.
2nd visit.. they only serve dinner Thurs - Sat.. Other nights youc an order from lunch menu... it's kind of a quirky place, but the food is great!
great food and service- Coffee was instant though!! Tell them you want real coffee from the casino...
We went there on Monday night and I guess they serve dinner Wed-Sun(?), so it felt a little weird to be looking at lunch menu at night, but I got over it quickly.We went there with 4 little children. The kind waitress gave us the best seats under bright light away from other people, so even though our children were very active and talkative, we could somehow relax. The waitress was not in a rush; she explained the menu well; and everything came in a timely manner. They had crayons and fun place mat like Red Robin. The food was excellent and the Godiva chocolate cheesecake was one of the best among many that I have tried in my life. It was not grainy with sugar or greasy or diluted. It was moderately sweet and rich, but not too rich like Olive Garden's. It was so good that I had to take a picture and post it on FB!I liked the refreshing cabin blue wall along with dark wood and dark green walls. I thought that blue was hard to match with everything else, but the decor was well done. I loved it.I'm pretty critical about restaurants, but I really enjoyed Last Frontier. Thank you!
I had Oysters and We shared a Seafood Platter and we were AMAZED AT HOW GREAT EVERYTHING WAS~!!!!
The waitress, Teresa is absolutely the BEST. I've had the French Dip multiple times, like it so much I can't seem to try anything else, but my friends have and liked many other choices. They also had a really good Steak and Black Bean soup - had a cup an it was excellant! Today it was very busy but the service was still very good. It was so busy I'm afraid the word has gotten out on how good the food is!
Good service and food
Not sure why I was charged .75 for substitute of jojos with my meal especially when it says on the menu that you can choose from three different types of potatoes and if you want soup and salad they are extra. The wait time for service and food seems to be a lot longer than it should be - spent a lot of time waiting. Waitress was very friendly and keep water full.
The waitress is so nice and very helpful and professional we really like her. The food is very good the prices good.

The atmosphere was perfect for the evening. My wife and I were with another couple and it was a nice quiet meal which we enjoyed the company and conversation.

Server was very sweet, cheerful, and great. The atmosphere is almost romantic (maybe because after 28 years we are still very much in love). We'll choose this establishment for an intimate annversary meal.

Our waitress was excellent. She was very attentive, and we actually had her the last time we ate there. SHe was very friendly and outgoing. The place was clean and it was not overly crowded.
Appetizers were prompt and great, comfort-food menu well presented and a nice little table by the fireplace! A hidden little gem in Yakima (I hate to say that, because when the secret is out, I won't be able to get a table!!)

The service was pitiful. Once she realized I had a certificate, it was worse. WHY do restaurants participate in these online coupons, if they hate them so much, & give the client a hard time ? I'll never go here again.

Thanks tp Al (Bartender) for going the extra mile to satisfy the customer by calling the owner to obtain permission to process our certificate from the iPhone app, without requiring a printed copy of it! :-)
Waitress forgot to deduct our gift certificate at first and had to deduct the total amount from our Gift card and then the new total would not go through, so I had to use another gift card and am now hoping that the original amount will be replaced on my original gift card.
The server was great. She has a great since of humor. Always there at the right time to bring refills on drinks. One of the best waitress we have had in a long time.
Love the dining area in front of the fireplace. They never skimp on the drinks either !!

Restaurant was way too small. Waited a long to time to be waited on. Was disappointed because they don't serve dinner on Tuesdays.

Service was not horrible, but it wasnt great. I was not told about the extra charge for tater tots over the cost of regular fries. I was charged nearly $3 for a glass of chocolate milk, and our beverages never got refilled. I was not happy with "hidden" extra costs, like the tots and chocolate milk.

The food was very good - There was only one waitress, and a full house, so she was a little slow in getting to us, but she was attentive and considerate. Even after we paid the bill, she could see that we were visiting and asked us if we wanted a refill of our drinks (non alcoholic). That was a first in any restaurant, and I was well pleased! Thank you!
A good chicken fried steak is hard to find in Yakima. We really enjoyed having one at The Last Frontier! Thank you

This is an excellent example of a warm and cozy place to find good food at a great value. I love they way they decorate in the fall and winter, using the fireplace to provide a warm welcome.
