When we first walked into the restaurant, the lady who sat us down had no expression. Seems like she wasn't happy seeing us. Two other servers came over to help us and they were more pleasant. All of the tempura we ordered were not crispy and light. The California rolls and beef teriyaki were good. A plus is that the portions size was large but the price of the bento boxes with 3 choices is $17.95 each. Thanks goodness for the Restaurant.com gift certificate. One of the server forgot to deduct our gift certificate. Luckily we remembered it. Otherwise, we would have to pay the full amount without the $25 off.
The facility was nice and clean. As we had a late dinner (after 8 PM), there were only about 3-4 tables of guests and we enjoyed the quietness.
Great food, great service. We had a "private" table which turned out to be not so private due to the noise from the couples on both sides. The table was exceptionally small for 2 people plus all the plates. But I had a lot of fun and the waitress was nice.
The Hostess was not customer friendly. Even though the restaurant was busy when we arrived, we waited but were then going to be seated in a back corner with one of us facing a solid wall. We requested to wait for a table or booth in the front portion of the dining room, which she did not want to accommodate.
Food was good. Service below par especially when it came to redeeming the coupon......such underhandedness/crookedness in these Ocean Drive restaurants!!!
They have "sneaky" pricing technique whereby extremely over priced specials (like fish& chips at $50!!) are not on a menu but are pushed heavily by waiter. Regular can soda is over $5!!
Waiter overcharged for a couple of our selections.....only 2 tables dining but the waiter Christian couldn't find the time to refill our beverages..
Old fashioned, small town place with good food at a fair price.
Food was good,but service very slow and if I wanted to do "all you can eat" I had to order something to go as well.We've order appetizers BAKED MUSSELS and they forgot about it. My husband ask them about that item ,so they finally brought that but was only 2 pieces and cold(2 baked mussels). P.S There is also charge for hot tea Lol .
