Our waiter welcomed us by name as we dined at La Toreretta 2 weeks prior. It was so good we had to come back. Durias (?) was just as great as the last time with his amusing personality and great memory.And m compliments to the Chef.
It was a Monday night, so not extremely busy. We got a lot of attention from the waiter. Plus we were on vacation from Pittsburgh and the Steelers were on Monday night footbal at the bar and we were the only ones in there watching!!
For an imitate restaurant it was noisey and you could not hold a conversation without straining to hear the other person.
Family owned and it has that welcoming feeling as well as great food and service.

We passed your restaurant for years. This was our first time there. Everything we ate was excellent. Very happy to know how good your restaurant is.
Our waiter Don was so great at explaining in delicious detail how everything is made fresh..we couldn't decide between the Chicken Fricassee or the Chicken Marsala so he had the cook make up a cup of Marsala sauce to try. IT WAS THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!

The atmosphere was nice and cozy, wait staff wonderful and the owner stopped by. Only thing wrong was the vegetables, overcooked and dry and no flavor, must have been made early in the day. The food was very delicious, we had rack of lamb, the best flavor and cooked to perfection and a shrimp pasta that was wonderful too. We will go back!
Waitress was right on the ball. Took order and appetizers were brought out before meal and she waited until we were half way through apps placed order for main course as well as the wine we wanted. Owner came over and introduced himself.

Very mediocre food that wasn't seasoned well. Best thing was the dipping oil for bread. Prices high for the quality. Your paying for the location. Decor is quite dated. Won't go back.

The Restaurant seemed old and rundown. The food was way overpriced. Did not enjoy my linquine and clams... it had a odd flavor and the very small clams in the shells were fishy tasting. Charged $17 for escargot...6 little escargot for that price was very unreasonably especially I order the same serving size at another local restaurant for half the price and much better flavor and presentation. I wont go back, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant is a little run down inside with lumpy bench seats. But the food is Oh so good!!! We celebrated a 30 year anniversary and they didn’t do anything special for us. But I would eat there again just for the calamari with the best marinara sauce ever!

Wait staff could have been a little more attentive, we were out of water and no wait staff in sight for some time. I had to get up and go to the counter and pour my own water. Ordered a panini, disappointed in the bread, it was way too thick and not like a panini where they grill the bread and it isn't so thick. Nice sandwich filling but didn't like the way too thick bread

Great food (delicious and authentic), service (skilled and professional), and ambiance (relaxing and nicely appointed). A great dining experience on our first time there. Will absolutely return. But some sort of happy hour offering in the bar area would be nice.

They claimed that I had changed the amount of the tip from $14(17.5%) to $24(30%). I have never had this done before. Will not go back, as there are too many other good restaurants.

We went twice this week. We tried different dishes. They ALL were EXCELLENT. Had chicken ravioli in pesto sauce yesterday. It was FABULOUS. My wife said the osso-bucco was terrific.

Main course for both of us was bland and tasted strange and wasn't as expected. Neither of us ate much of the main courses. Calamari and cheesecake were both very good. Our waiter was slightly rude when we first arrived, wasn't helpful or informative and didn't check in with our table very often. We were left with empty glasses. He warmed up slightly as the meal went on. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and sadly we were both disappointed.

Winey Beach Cafe is a neighborhood gem. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is as the name says and the food is mouth watering. Wednesday night was ladies night, all drinks $3.

The food is excellent and the Chicken Parm ranks in my top 3 Italian Restaurants in AZ. The chicken cuts w/ a fork, they use a high grade mozzarella and their red sauce is awesome. Too bad I live in Avondale as I would dine there much more often...........

It is a little bit pricey and I don't enjoy the type of bread they serve and I LOVE bread. They also don't do anything special for birthdays, not even offering a small dessert. But overall a bit on the steep side price-wise. The food was pretty good though.
