Junior's has the best Mexican food in Vista. Very friendly staff and quality food. Love Carolina who takes the orders. My husband and I have been coming here for years.

their is one cook who consistently prepares everything to be extremely HOT (Spicy HOT) We dine at Juniors often and love it when any one else is in the kitchen. The food this cook prepares is so Hot we cannot eat it and it has to be thrown out. This is a frequent and reoccurring problem at Juniors, but ONLY when that particular cook is in the kitchen.

It's good, but not our favorite taco shop. The guacamole is really watered down and doesn't taste like avocados. They forgot the tortillas for one plate so we had to use our own at home. No menu is posted online or available to view. The hot sauces are good and it was inexpensive.

The owner started to tell me how much he is not satisfied with restaurant.com and how he is giving a free burrito. He asked me when I was there before and so on. And then, I left with TWO burritos that I didn't even order! He gave me a completely wrong order! Unbelievable!

The only reason it was not excellent was that the person behind the counter has twice said we have been in earlier that month and can't use our certificate. We have to argue that we don't live close by and only stop when we visit a friend that lives nearby. We hadn't been into the restaurant for at least 4 months, probably more like 5. He said, no I saw you in here last week! We don't understand. We even suggested that maybe someone looks like my husband. Maybe he should write down our names on a calendar, we're happy to show ID in the future. He didn't belive it wasn't us and after some conversation, he did take the certificate, but it made us feel badly he thinks we are cheating. We know the rule of only using one cert. per month. Food is awesome, generous meat in tacos and burritos and tastes delicious. This one problem is the only problem we have here. Considering not coming back, but they are friendly and great food when I'm in the area and awesome price.

It's just a little hole in the wall, in which you order and pay up front, so no server. They do have some of the best Mexican food in Vista though, and why we are regulars!

Food was very good but there was no good salsa in my opinion. More like hot sauce than salsa. Hot sauce in a variety of flavors/heat. Plastic silverware (for we were eating in) was so flimsy you could actually bend it. The restaurant was pretty clean though and we enjoyed our time there.
