With a selection in our immediate area of over 1,000 restaurants, we have gone to this one 3 time in a row for dining out--they have amazing food, a large selection, staff is very attentive, without being in your face, and I have no idea how they do all this for roughly the price of fast junk food--who wouldn't rather have this. A hidden gem in PLano, while the "have to be seens" can go to the trendy spots, makes sure a table is open for us at Joes!!

Pasta and pizza were great! Friendly staff and good overall experience. The ONLY negative was the rolls were a little over brown on the top (almost burned). Otherwise, a great place to eat!

Amazing selection of authentic dishes, attentive, but not intrusive wait staff. If you are looking for fancy ambiance, go somewhere else, but if you want an awesome Italian meal, be able to chat with your tablemates, and be totally shocked by your tab (low) for your dinner, by all means get to this place!!!!

We had lunch. The food was good as always but the service was not. None of us had our drinks refilled the entire time we were there. The restaurant was not busy so I don't understand why that happened. Usually I have dinner there and the service is good.

Great Italian dishes. Try the Stromboli and be prepared to take some home unless you have not eaten in 3-4 days. Very reasonable prices and great service from everyone that works there . Everyone pitches in to be helpful to the customer

They were understaffed and once the after church crowd came in we didn't see our server for about 10 minutes since she was diverted to a large table in the back. Not her fault... Management issue.

It was Valentines night and after we were seated the owner nicely took our drink order and the food order and then for the next hour and a half we felt alone in a sea of people.They were terribly short staffed and not prepared for a Valentines crowd. My pizza was hot but you could tell it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while because the cheese was not melted.Other people were getting better service who walked in well after us.

took 3 times to get complete meal. they bought 1 part and asked if there was anything else they could do and I replied what do I not get salad with this and he said yes and got that then asked again and I asked what about the rolls do they not come also. Need to make sure that people know what is on their menus so this does not happen.

The server had only been here on the US for 2 weeks and you couldn't tell. Very awesome attitude and attention to customers. Knowledgeable about the menu and knew how to treat a customer to encourage repeat business.

Everything was great until the kitchen staff started scrubbing the floor with pine-sol at 8:00 pm. unfortunately we were at a table just outside the kitchen and it ruined the last part of of dinner.

We had veal caccatori and a special called Jeruselem, plus amaretto cheesecake and a vanilla cannoli. Everything was delicious and our server was good. Other than super preparation, we especially appreciate the pasta portion size. It's hard not to eat every bite and when the pasta volume is huge, we will overeat. In this case the entrees were filling and we could make room for delicious dessert without feeling like piggies!

Service was just OK...food took forever to come out. There was only 1 person at our table that enjoyed their meal - veal marsala. The rest of the food - sauce and pizza, not good at all. Pizza tastes like frozen pizza.

The 'food' took too long to be served, and when it was it was barely edible at all. I have never gone to a restaurant where no one in the party wanted to eat more than a couple of bites. We left soon after, since we were still hungry and needed to find food to eat.

Soggy pizza crust, found tons of lemon seeds in my chicken pictta. I had one chicken cutlet that was browned 1/8 of the way, the other had no color. Had a tough time cutting it with a butter knife. Bread had no flavor except the dried oregano (that was sprinkled over everything we ordered). Over all the restaurant desperately needs a makeover. Will not be returning, and will warn people ahead of time.

We like this place and want to continue going, however that last visit was not good. Items missing on pizza, pizza crust was a little burnt. They did offer to remake, but we did not have enough time to wait. They did give comp dessert, that helped. we never saw the final bill to determine if the missing items were removed from the bill, we were only told the final amount we owed, that was a little wierd.
