I was visiting family in Denham and thought it would be nice to swing by Jack in the Box on our way back to Alabama, especially since we don't have any by us. I was running a bit behind, so I ordered ahead while I was getting gas, that way I could just grab it and go. I ordered a couple ultimate cheeseburgers for my husband, and a sourdough grilled cheese and curly fries for me. About 10 minutes later I'm in the drive through getting my order, so far so good. I get back on the interstate, reach into the bag to grab a fry, and I get a straight, old fry. Okay, no problem, must be a couple for mixed in. Reach for another, same thing. Not only were they not the curly fries I ordered, they were definitely old. Whatever, not going to turn around for some fries. I reach in the bag, feeling around for my square sandwich. Nothing square is there. However, one of the round wrappers is thinner than the other 2, so that must be my sandwich. I unwrap it, and it's a hamburger bun with a piece of cheese in the middle, microwaved to melt the cheese! This is absolutely insane! I can see how someone may misread an order and give me old straight fries, but ain't no way this monstrosity was an accident!
