Nice cozy place
Would not have known about it without the coupon, will go back again.
The food and waitress were excellent up until we were finished with dinner. Unfortunately our waitress was also doing other duties in the restaurant. When we were ready to pay the bill, another waitress prepared our bill. She left off our bottle of wine! We advised our her of the wine, she then gave us a new bill. Our wine was $29.00 on the menu, she rang it up at $40.00. We talked with our initial waitress and she saw the discrepancy and fixed it. In all the hubbub of reviewing the bills, we failed to notice that the wine was actually rang up at $29.99. Great food, check out was a fiasco. Reviewing the bill again in our motel room, we discovered that the restaurant had failed to charge us for the garlic knot rolls. So we guess everything worked out about even. Even with these issues, we plan to try it again soon.

I think they should use real mashed potatoes, not instant, or offer baked potatoes. It would’ve been nice to have Italian bread with my meal!
My tomato soup did not taste like tomatoes. Almost a burnt taste. My pasta was very tasteless. My husband's stromboli was great and our lasagna bites were pretty good.

The food was really good. I was pleasantly surprised to find gluten-free pizza crust that didn't taste or feel like cardboard! We will definitely be back!!!!

I know it was Mothers Day, but service was horrible. My husband FINISHED his meal before mine even got to the table. Poor kitchen management.Then to make matters worse husbands' pizza overcooked (dry) my entree was ice cold in center.

Food wasn’t very good this time. Chicken was hard, the menu showed a hole piece of Chicken but it was little peace’s. It also said proscuito but it wasn’t prosciutto.
Maybe sitting near the drink machine is not a great idea. Ice dropping into the water glasses is a bit annoying.

Our waiter did not serve us in any way. He was upset about something and complained lLOUDLY he was going to quit on the spot. Stormed out the back door at least 6 times while we were there with another male server following him each time. The female waitresses were wonderful and noticed we were not being taken care of so they picked up the slack. By then, though, I was too nervous to enjoy myself. Also, I was told the shrimp that would go on my salad would be cold - it was piping hot. That’s gross to me on a salad. I will never go there again.

The food quality was excellent! My husband was disappointed that his "bowl" of soup was a mere speck bigger than my "Cup"...yet cost $2.00 more. Also his chopped Italian salad was fresh and was presented beautifully and looked sufficient..but there really was not that much Italian meat in the salad..it was mostly lettuce, tomato, etc. My eggplant parm was excellent! Portion size was good....we both will probably return again...but order pizza as that looked very very good!

Not much seating available. Skip the garlic knots - they were like hockey pucks. The pizza was good, nothing outstanding. Waitress left the drinks off the bill, I had them correct the check but they were too busy to adjust for the happy hour price.
Walk in an instantly smells good and makes you hungry. Always great watching the people toss pizzas and prep

This is more of a pizza Parlor than a restaurant. We were surprised that prices were as high as they were. First Italian "Restaurant" we patronize that doesn't serve bread with Italian entrees such as lasana & spaghetti. When asked for bread server brought us butter without the bread.

Service and food need more consistency. Had Calzones and one time good amount of toppings ordered, next time just flat with very little. One time pizza cooked just right next time burned. When "Al" was cooking at South location, always good and friendly. LOVE YOUR PLACE AND BRING IIN MANY FRIENDS, BUT TAKE CARE OR YOU WILL SEE BUISNESS DROP.

The quality of food has gone down. The calamari was greasy and when served sauce was cold. Had asked for Mariana.waitress said always served that way. But making pizza said no. Waitress did not take any blame for anything. Made an excuse. Had excuse for loud music, had excuse for cold sauce. I am so disappointed after going to restaurant for almost 2 years. Did they sell franchise? No one cares? SAD

I have eaten at Italiano's numerous times in the past. However, this time our service & food was poor compared to previous experiences. They were not even busy.

The server was very nice and courteous, but she had to clean off tables, take the orders, answer the phone, greet the take out customers, deliver the food, and she did her best, but it's not a way to operate at lunch time. The food was poor quality and very bland sub sandwiches.

The pizz we ordered was good. A little difficult to cut because the crust was thin and dark. We had extra cheese and pepperoni. The extra cheese wasn't necessary.

Loved watching them make pizza. o One after another. Very entertaining.
It's a very small restaurant with only about 10 tables. Pizza is definitely the main dish, but both my wife and I had pasta dishes which were very good. But next time we will have the pizza. The pizza preparation and oven are up front and in the open so you can watch your pizza being made. Very thin crust pizza look really good.

good food and service. We were disappointed that bread was not offered with our meals. We had to pay extra for a side of bread. Also we were with friends and wanted to have a leisurely dinner to "catch up" with each other. We felt we were served too quickly to get us out the door.
Service was good and the meals were cooked as ordered. The flavor of each meal was excellent and we will be returning soon.

Food is great but the wait staff was forgot to place our order, was inattentive and repeated ignored us trying to give them a credit card to pay for the meal. And we were her only table. This is the first time we've ever had trouble with this place.

This is the second time we have eaten at this restaurant and find the food delicious. Not only was our server wonderful but also the manager. Everyone is so friendly at this restaurant, and we feel like we have found a real gem!
Everything we had was delicious: tomato basil soup, Italian chopped salad, chicken parmesan, lemoncello cake. We will go back very soon. What a great find!

Calamari....excellent.Pizza... Not so great.If your restaurant wants a great pizza recipe...go to Evvivas in Lisle, Illinois. It is based on the Salerno pizza. Superb.Server....was great. He should get a raise in pay. :)

Italiano's is much more than a pizza and pasta palace. I had the horseradish crusted salmon over risotto and found it to be tasty indeed. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. It was a very comfortable atmosphere, not at all stuffy.

I had to ask someone to bring our appetizer and soup/salad because we waited 10-15 minutes and no one brought them out.
