Upon arrival I was a little disappointed in the host. He was slumped over his stand like he would rather be elsewhere. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated (and we arrived during peak hours). Once we were seated, our server was amazing. Food was prepared as ordered and was delivered in adequate time.

Apparently the staff was NOT prepared for the amount of people OFF for election day. We waited 20 min for a table (which is OK...but on a Tues AM...is unusual) the it was 40 MIN!!....40 MIN from the time she took our order until we actually got the food. My husband had to leave because it took soooo long and we boxed up his food. The food was fine...you could tell it was VERY rushed. My usually correct OVER MED eggs were barely over easy...the whites were NOT cooked ! YUCK. The crepes were just thrown on the plate...but it was all hot and fresh. Just took wayyyy tooo long.

All servers were more interested in socializing with each other rather than help any of the customers. It was like party time at iHop while the customers went without refills, condiments, etc. One gentleman got the wrong meal, but the server convinced him to keep it. I think it was easier for him just to eat the incorrect meal, rather than argue. Server didn't even offer to bring him what he originally ordered. Not a very relaxing dinner. I was stressed out the whole time.

I will visit another IHOP, but not at this location. We consistently overheard the staff discussing problems with in the restaurant. Never got our drinks refilled, and had to ask for Gravy for the Country fried steak several times because it only came with a table spoon size amount on the steak. Our waiter did try very hard. You could tell most of the staff was new.
