This place has been in existence since 1929 and definitely has an "old timey' feel to it, like a luncheonette from another era. Food is good, not great, but reasonably priced and service is friendly and prompt. Good place for families with kids, seniors.

Prompt, attentive service. Food arrived as ordered and piping hot as well as delicious. The salad was extremely fresh and nice and crunchy and the Blue Cheese dressing was excellent.

Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup is a disaster. The soup smells of unwashed oily wok. There are 6 wontons. Note the inside of the wonton is mostly pork with a tiny shrimp body, and the pork was not fresh for my meal. The noodle is also hard to chew, not typical Chinese noodle. I ordered Scallop with black bean sauce in the beginning but was told it was not available. So I switched to Salt and Pepper Shrimp. The dish looks good, with about 14 shrimps? Unfortunately the shrimps were not deveined and I had to do it myself to avoid eating sand. Fried rice was good, except that the rice was a little stale -- note this dish is almost all rice, with just some sporadic cabbage, egg and sausage parts. The restaurant(desk, tables) is clean and the waitress is professional and efficient. However, given the food quality, I would not visit here again. These are not authentic Chinese food.

The staff was great and the food was very good. The homemade ice cream is the best. It's worth the trip, just for the dessert.
