We went for dinner and didn't know they had comedy night on Wednesdays. Not only did we enjoy the Flat Iron Steak but we enjoyed the comedians!

The atmosphere here is always excellent.We dine here often alone, with friends and with family. The food is amazing from the Steak Skewers on the Appetizer menu to the Salmon (which is second to NOWHERE!) The servers are always happy and smiling and provide excellent service!

There was a very loud special event at the restaurant. If I had known about it, I would have chosen to eat there on a different date/time. I stayed because the food and serice was good.

They scheduled my reservation, which I made online with Open table and have verification, for the wrong day. Then they argued with me about that reservation. The wait staff seemed less interested in serving their customers than talking with their friends.

Food took about 40 minutes! finally, the server brought my steak out. I figured my bf's dish was coming soon. I finally had to get up and FIND someone to tell them how angry I was that his sandwich wasn't here but that my steak was already served. The sandwich was VERY bland and NOT worth $11. It didn't even have the avocado, nor was it "blackened" Just a plain chicken sandwich

Gaslamp is not a restaurant... it is a bar / nightclub that also serves food. The food was good, but the atmosphere was strictly nightclub with walls colored black and red. Our server was polite and friendly but had too many tables to attend to.... we waited sometimes. The background music was ok at first and later got louder to where I couldn't hear my wife talk.

It was OK - but would never go back! Food was OK - not great - overpriced for what you got. Music was WAY TOO LOUD!!! If you don't get there before 6PM - they charge $15 "cover charge"!!! Recommend to anyone who buys this coupon in the future to go BEFORE 6 PM!!!
