Only one person working entire store. He is the cook, butcher, counter help and cashier. He is nice, but took 30 minutes to get food

I planned on using my gift certificate to get carne asada &/or carnitas meat to make tacos at home. When I got there (about 10:15am) meat case was empty. Owner said he'd put meat out soon. He told me to tell him what I wanted & he'd bring it out. 4get it.

It took them over 45 mins to give us our food and the place was not clean.

To be fair, this is not a restaurant. It is a Hispanic oriented grocery market with a taco shop counter located inside. You order and pay at the counter and if you want a beverage, you grab a bottled one out of the refrigerators. The tables are 4 booths in the middle of the store. That said, if you want a quick good mexican meal this will suffice. The food is made on the spot so it is always very hot and fresh. Excellent tortillas and they even have some breakfast items served until 10am. The guy who owns the store is very nice and accommodating. While there isn't a salsa bar, he does have both a red and green taco sauce. I grab burritos here frequently and the order is always correct. If you eat there, he will serve the food in to-go packaging but put it on a plate. So this is not fancy by any means; it is a taco shop inside a store. I'd go here over most other taco shops any time.

Excellent, but good because a major accident just happened as we got there and created a bit of a distraction.
