Fried food is ok. There are better places.
Breakfast was delicious! Customer service was great. It's always fun to get the pancake that's bigger than the plate!
The hostess was super nice. Later found out she was the owner. Owner since 1969!!! It is really nice inside. Staff were all super nice and helpful. Checked on me often. Steak Diane came out in a reasonable time and was super soft and tasted great! Def coming back!

We had to wait an hour and 20 minutes before being seated. Then we waited quite awhile before I went to register to pay because a bill was never brought to our table.
crying onion is one of the best breakfast spots in Tucson. Have never had a bad breakfast there
Food was hot and fresh and LARGE PORTIONS! Wait staff was EXTREMELY friendly and attentive. Love this place. One warning...It is usually crowded in the morning. And FOR GOOD REASON!!

Someone in the kitchen was preparing chicken fried steak and was pounding on the counter the entire time we ate which was quite annoying

Great food but waitress was really distracted and forgetful starting with forgetting menus to coffee to boxes to extra sauces.
My wife's bacon was supposed to be crispy (it was not) and my cheeseburger had a slight tang to it which I'm not sure was intentional.

Crowded on Sundays mornings for a reason. Great breakfast and lunch items. Never had a bad meal there. Wait staff is efficient and friendly. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Not ideal for large groups unless you go at slower times.
Server did not get our order correct and argued with us about it. They also don't know the difference between an omelet and a scramble. Was not a good visit BUT every previous visit was fine.

all the food was fabulous except for the Reuben, which one person ordered. It was a range of food, including in addition, an omelette, sandwich, and salad.
Not fancy, not the cheapest in town. But above average food at reasonable prices.
Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Food came out in in a timely manner and hot. We had huevos rancheros which was topped off with green chili beef which was very good. Also had an angus beef sandwich which was awesome. Only negative is I ordered onion rings and they were not available. Will visit again.

Crying onion has a really good breakfast, especially their pecan pancakes. A step above your typical breakfast place.
