Food was ok. Atmosphere was boring at best. Wait staff was acceptable. Nothing over the top, exciting or innovative.

A raining and chilling day made the Shabu Shabu restaurant almost full. The servers were very friendly but kind of slow and absence of mind today, may due to too many customers. Food were as usually good.

Great and friendly servers, however, the food quality became lower today. The yellow curry soup base is too salty and lacked the fragrance used to be. The flavored coating of the chicken wings did not evenly applied to the wings, and were balloon liked covered the wings, you won't know they were chicken wings until you bite it. The taste were fine though.

My picky 5 year old really likes it, surprisingly. And she finished her whole bowl of rice topped with that dark color sauce and all the noodles. She got the pork lunch special. $10.99 Lunch special menu is worth it during lunch. Comes with plain H2O base though. Didn't know it's $3 up charge for broth. Got a free ice tea for checking in on yelp. But if ordering from the regular lunch menu then it's not worth it. I ordered medium portion and literally only 3-4 thinly sliced meat more than the small portion. With a $10 restaurant.com certificate breaks it even. Then again, I was recommended to get the best meat Cab Rib Eye or something at $19.99+$3 broth (both on their recommended list). The beef melt in my mouth. Their all you can eat menu is $19.99 too. I should of just ordered that instead if I could figure out the meat portion is so small. I don't consider myself a big eater, but even I was not full on meat at that price. My husband definitely would come out starving. Flavor is great though. I would definitely return. But next time, I would stick with lunch special menu at $10.99 with plain water. And if I'm hungry, I would go for the $19.99 all you can eat menu. After discount, my bill was $37.46 after 18% tips to feed 1 adult, a 5 year old and 2 year old. Would of been $47.46. Not exactly your great steal for lunch. Then again, I did enjoy the meal. The price docked a star.

A nice skillet of chicken and steak with vegetables....guacamole and sour cream too. I cashed in the $10 off $20 restaurant.com certificate and got some delicious fried ice cream too. They flaunt their Restaurant.com award letter on the entrance door, a good place to use Restaurant.com certificates without fear they'll refuse to take it in the future.

We were a bit concerned when we first got there because it is a small restaurant and there was only one other table with people at it. However, the food was really excellent and the service we were provided with was also very good. We'll be back!

There was only one server for the whole restaurant so it was kind of slow. I think the A/C was broken. It got very warm while were eating. A lot of people complained.

Pros: Great food at a reasonable price.Cons: Service - waitress forgot our drink order. Portions of guacamole and sour cream for fajitas was woefully inadequate - had to get side-order.The Pros is why this didn't get a rating of 5.
