The food and service are ALWAYS excellent. Haven't had a subpar meal. We've eaten Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner here (not all in the same day!).
We've never had a bad meal here. The cook is very accommodating to dietary restrictions.

The food was great, I had cod fish and chips. There was only one waitress and it was busy, but we had excellent service.
The service is a pathetic joke. Multiple customers left, after being seated and while still waiting to be seated. There was one waitress for the entire restaurant.
The food is excellent and service fine. a little pricey, especially since we did not have wine. The bread pudding is a favorite treat.
Great Food and Service. Never a bad meal. We had Prime Rib, Fish & Chips, Steamed Clams and a delightful dessert.
It was a very hot day, we came over from the Russian River Rodeo needing a cooler environment and some good food. We got both, our waitress was wonderful, keeping our glasses filled and even offering us ice water when we left. The food was delicious!

I ordered eggs benedict with salmon however it came without salmon. The waitress never came by to check on how our meal was however a second waitress did ask that question when we were nearly done.
Everyone was extremely attentive and fun to be around! The food was AMAZING!!! You could tell that everything was made with heart with fresh ingredients. Somehow they make dishes that do not sound all that great absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We drove about 40 minutes to get there, but will definitely go back!!
It was a beautiful day, the food was really, really good and the service was spot on. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will be back.

Quaint and casual, (just the way we like it!) Wait staff was warm, friendly and attentive, but gave us our space at the same time. The food was freshly prepared, timely and delicious!

Always wonderful tasting food. I take friends there often to celebrate a birthday, or just for a nice day out to the coast. Servers are always pleasant, as well.
Wonderful food for lunch. I had pasta in cream sauce with the salmon they smoke themselves in house. The best! My husband had a pastrami reuben with homemade sauce. Excellent. Inside and garden seating.
Food is exceptional, service was delightful. They comped us dessert when said it was our anniversary celebration.
Only complaint about the restaurant is that it can get a little uncomfortable on a hot day. Wish they had air conditioning or a little better ventilation.
Excellent food in a wonderfully quaint and simple restaurant. The dishes are great. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The prime rib was spot on and the seafood is always fresh and tasty. The only slight downfall would be the service. Admittedly we've only eaten here during busy / peak times, but the service has always seemed to be lacking. The staff is friendly, but simply not as responsive and you'd like. The best way to enjoy your experience here is to arrive with an appetite and plan for an extended dinner (with the minor annoyance of having to ask for things 2-3 times) Overall - well worth the trip.
The staff/waitress was very friendly and waited on us like we were the only customers in the restaurant. Service and food were beyond excellent and we will be going back very soon. Desserts are made in house every day and are worth the calories!

This is a wonderful place to eat! The food is fabulous, and the people are really nice. There's a great little shopping area behind the restaurant, so it's a really nice outing.
The dining room reminded me of an Edward Hopper painting. Our server was friendly and cheerful. The food was piping hot and tasty.

Cape Fear is always a very pleasant experience and the food and wait staff are always excellent.
Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. The food is always scrumptious, delicious. The waitresses were extremely friendly, outgoing and efficient. The outdoor patio has umbrellas and is nicely landscaped.
We love the fact that they offer breakfast along with lunch till 3pm. Sometimes we get a late start. Looking forward to their brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
