Food took a long time to come out even though there were only 2 tables of people in the restaurant. The appetizer came out after the meals. Charged 2.25 extra for blue cheese and celery and could not even use the blue cheese because it was all chunks. Wings were supposed to be super hot, tasted mild like tomato sauce. Never received requested water refills.

food good, waitress was very personable and attentive,,,,only draw back was the long wait to be serviced and receive the order. Did not like part of order but it was replaced by the waitress without hesitation

I think it was rib eye, not prime rib. Turkey dinner was ok. Baked potato was awful. Ordered roast beef dinner, after 10 minutes they came back saying no roast beef. Then there was an issue over the coupon, pizza didn't count cuz it was pizza nite. Don't waste your time/money going here

Food was not good and service was poor. Probably will not go back because of new owners the restaurant has regresed.

The food was delicious, the service was great and the prices were reasonable.
The meal was excellent and the staff was wonderful but the place was freezing. The waitress was complaining about the cold as well. Physically the place is not very appealing.
ordered STUFFED HADDOCK, IT was FLOUNDER!!! IM a CHEF, I KNOW!! COOK admitted,was flounder. THATS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! Waitress said nobody ever complained. They've been substituting for years!!

The waitress was very friendly. Came back several times to check on us.Only thing I wasnt a fan of was the boneless chunks..normally I get boneless wing bites at other restraints but these are over a inch big..good just wasn't a big fan (my own opinion of coarse)
Service and food were excellent! This place is a hidden treasure and definitely where the locals dine. We will be going back.

their clam specials always run out on saturday. You should have enough to fill requests all night long. They have been offering this special for some time and should know that they need to accomodate the parties that arrive after 6 pm
All staff very nice and little forgetful. Forgot croutons on salad. Forgot blue cheese and celery for wings. Forgot garlic bread. Clams very tough
Everything was very mediocre at best. I've eaten there several times and I just feel like every time is a little worse than the last.

We were tired and needed something good to eat fast. Al's does it for us. Italian chicken with salad, potato and veggie; steak and shrimp with salad potato and veggie. Good dinner - great price, and in the neighborhood.

We usually order appetizers, pizza and wings. This was the first time all four of us ordered dinners. Bad choice. None of us liked our dinners. Waitress was absolutely terrible. I will go back but will stick to our usual.

Our waitress (Summer) was amazing! She kept drinks consistently filled without being asked, explained menu items, knew about Restaurant.com and applied our discount easily, and had a friendly attitude.
Excellent burgers! The best onion rings. Pricing was very reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Definitely going back to sample some of their dinners, they looked very tempting! This gem of a place should be tried.Our bartender/server Bob was terrific!
garlic bread and mashed potato's were way to buttery combo platter was over cooked and at too high of a temp so they were burnt prime rib was a stake cut in half super thin and waitress never came back with my change

The waiters were so attentive. An empty plate would hardly touch the table after pushing it aside & they were right there taking it away. The mushroom sauce was recommended & he was right.... it was fabulous. My husband hates mushrooms & even he liked the sauce.

Service was slow. I ordered Pizza to go and I never got it. I never got my change back either. I guess 40% tips are the norm at Barrett's. My Cheeseburger was completely red inside - definitely undercooked.

Barrett's was a family favorite of mine growing up. I now live out of state and was thrilled to be able to bring my mother and our family here myself as a college graduation gift. The food was amazing as always and the staff could not have been friendlier. Thank you for your consistency. This restaurnat and it's team are a huge credit to the service industry.

mobile reviewSaturday at 1pm. First time here. Entrance was behind the building but after we entered we discovered a front door. Nice looking inside. Hardwood, brick walls, stained glass, sports / Irish decorated. Ordered pierogi -I ordered the with butter and onions. Caramelized onions, definitely homemade and stuffed with potato. Very good. Very filling. 3 to an order. Could be my meal. wings - ordered mild extra crispy. Very good wings...flavored like my 2 favorite restaurants. Perfectly crispy and perfectly mild. They were very good. steak & cheese pizza - ordered a 4 cut, big enough to share. Cane out piping hot and cheezy. Dough more like bread but not a negative. burger and fries - Fries are fresh cut and crispy with the skins still on. Burger was fresh, not frozen patty and chared perfectly while still a little pink in the middle. Husband seemed to like it. He's good at describing this he doesn't like but a man of few words when he does. He simply says it good. Very nice waitress, only one working, but it was not busy. Most people sitting at the bar. All in all we enjoyed our meal. Everything was good and fresh made and friendly. We will be back!

The wing bites were cold and most of the celery was brown and inedible in our opinion. We were charged 2.25 for the celery and blue cheese! I can buy a bottle of blue cheese for that price! That was outrageous! Also, my burger was burnt on one side, I had to cut it off of the burger. Very disappointed in our meal. We hadn't been to Barrett's in a long time and we were really looking forward to it. Without the Restaurant.com certificate our meal would have been over $35.00. The place was empty, other than one other table, the food should not have been cold and/or burnt.
WOW- don;t know where to start..waited 10 minutes till first contact at table. FOOD was terrible. sent back main entree and ordered another dinner which was burnt! got charged for the burnt stuff not to mention the food had very bland taste to it.
Only table available was in the bar area. Too loud. Had children with me. Bad language used by guests at bar.

Every time we go there it gets worse. Fries were cold and inedible (no one ate them). Fish and pizza were OK. The place was empty (6pm) I guess I know why. Quality of their food is going downhill fast.
i have always liked the food at barretts. i and everyone i talk to says the service is the worst there it. i agree and that's why i havent been there in months. this time with a different server, service was a little better.

The food was excellent.I tried the prime rib instead of wings and was pleasantly suprised. I had enough to take home for dinner the next day. Pizza is one of the best my husband and I have ever had.

I love going to this restaurant even w/o a coupon, but getting a reduction in the bill was a treat.
Husband's prime rib was full of muscle and much was inedible. Was told could not make amends because using coupon.
Had heard from a number of people I work with at Marywood that the food was very good. Very disappointed...wings fried dry, pizza had no flavor and the waitress was not interested in answering any questions re. restaurant/what's good etc. Never, never go back or recommend.

We are lucky because Barretts is the closest restaurant to our house, and the food and service are always excellent.
we have gone here on several occasions before but this time the serve was very rud to us saying you have to eat the food in-house and cannot take it home. we only had 3 in the party and you have to spent $35 to us the coupon.
